^ That exactly. "Everyone" implies a free-for-all setup and/or competition against live players.

PvE stands for Player Versus Environment. It's only in specific places it's not. It's not really arguable.

Since some disagree with the idea of swapping PvE with its redirect, there is now a single proposition crowner here in the hopes that it will clarify things. Feel free to tell me if you think it is premature.

PvE found in: 74 articles, excluding discussions.

Since January 1, 2011 this article has brought 4 people to the wiki from non-search engine links.

It's always fun if people say in the middle of an argument that something is not arguable tongue

Regardless, it's still an abbreviation, and meaningless to people unfamiliar with a specific genre of games. We generally avoid abbreviated trope names, because spelling them out is much clearer.

[up] I thought so too.

Anyway, it is what the abbreviation generally means on The Internet, and more importantly, the trope description starts with, "Short for Player vs. Environment."

I'm sure there is a work or fandom or something that says "scuba" stands for something else, but it's not arguable that properly it stands for "self-contained underwater breathing apparatus".

The E in PvE is Environment. https://www.google.com/search?q=pve

Given the support for a rename, there is now an alternative titles crowner for this trope here. Feel free to add names as you see fit.
