I also support. I feel really bad for even discovering such a section existed. Feels like people were being really mean-spirited.

Disagree. I don't see what harm it is doing.
EDIT: Actually now that I think about it specific examples are probably in bad taste. General examples should be fine though (like diseases and such).

Am I the only one that finds it extremely tasteless to include real-life examples under this trope? Aren't we essentially inviting people to gawk at the misfortunes of others in a somewhat offensive manner, especially with all the image links involved? ("Wow, look at how horrible this person looks!")
I wouldn't say that applies to all examples listed, but in general...
