So, what's the secret? How does it work? Is it enough to be drunk, or do we need other, illicit substances to properly appreciate it?

Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.

You don't even need to be intoxicated.

Then again, I'm HIGH ON LIFE, so I'm biased.

Personally I can appreciate psychedelic music in spite of being SXE FOR LIFE BITCH, but my only experience with any kind of psytrance was Shpongle and I hated it.

I think I've tried enough psytrance to realize that the vibe they're going for is one that I have to be in a very rare mood to enjoy. I don't have the same problem with non-psychedelic trance.

I don't listen to much Trance.

I dunno where I'd start, and I haven't heard much I like.

There is one artist who has always been classified as "trance" (although apart from the melodic qualities of his music I never undertood why) which I like.

Except for him, I've never found anything I liked in trance and/or goa... But I'd be interested in knowing some decent artists.

I like VNV Nation, but they don't exactly count.

Come to think of it, I'm really unclear on where to draw the line between trance and techno.

Wikipedia tells me that Hybrid's Wide Angle is "progressive trance". However accurate that may be, it's pretty darn awesome.

Yes, yes, my friend was right in telling me this music would be perfect for me. It. Is. Glorious. The flow, the energy, the sheer exaltation.

Psychedlic trance to start with was invented as a composure to meet the vast soundscapes of the heavenly earthly noise.. What goa and neon trance is actually is a spaceship strobing into space fearlessly dodging the black holes.wild mass guessidea
