No, it fits this trope better, because he's noting they are there, not their purpose. That is this trope more than the other.
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid. It shouldn't take long at all to find a new picture for Thought Caption, but it would be really hard to find another good picture of Medium Awareness.

Agreed. I'm hunting some options, gimme a bit.
EDIT: I'll start with this...got something else in mind, may post it later. Also, this can be edited down to the first few boxes if clarity's the issue.

Here's another take.
That is not an example of "characters know they're in a game/movie/comic/website/etc and take advantage of it" is it? It seems like he is talking (thinking?) about a youth serum or something.
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan. That's for Thought Caption; the Deadpool pic is perfect for Medium Awareness. It's Batman from The Dark Knight Returns on the first night of his return to the cowl after 10 years away from it

Oh! Oops. Great. Looks good.
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan. Can we move this thread to the right trope, if we're not replacing Medium Awareness, but Thought Caption?
Batman works, but I'm frankly a little tired of Batman pics.
The Internet misuses, abuses, and overuses everything.Any other thoughts?
Will we add Bats now?
Clock is set; Bats will go up once it expires unless there's some serious objections or a better suggestion.
Wow, is this overdue. The pic is up, potholed, and tagged; locking up.
Thought Caption has the same picture as this, and even though I found it on Medium Awareness first, I think it fits better there. What to put here, though?
