Science Fiction Versus Fantasy at present combines two purposes. On the one hand, it is a rather lengthy essay comparing the two genres, and eventually transitioning into mention of the fact that some works combine elements from both. Some have argued that the description make the purpose of the page unclear and would be more appropriate for an Analysis/ or Useful Notes style page. On the other hand, it is collecting examples of works that combine the two genres. According to The Other Wiki, the term used for stories that do this is Science Fantasy
, which is currently a redirect.
At present, there is a Science Fantasy trope being proposed in YKTTW; however it has been put on hold pending a decision on what to do with this trope.
