Collaborative Story By Snippets

I liked the Running gag we had going on WWYCDITAS.

Telling more or less one story but switching to our own characters with every turn.

Should we continue the one we had going or start a new one?

It's not like the original one was particularly well-developed or wrenching to let go of. Also, 'snippets'.

Let's just start anew. Shall it be just like the old one, with "The next character..." bits?

Sure, why not? It certainly seemed like fun.

Your character finds themself alone in the middle of the woods in the dark and it's raining

If the trees aren't too thick, Whiteout would save his energy. If it was pitch black, he'd let his hands glow slightly to give him some light.

Jabberwock would simply grow until she could see above the trees.

Cole and Agni, if it was raining too hard for a fire, would be left in the dark.

While attempting to navigate the dark woods, your character hears a twig snap behind him/her.

Alexander, being Alexander, immediately drops Katherine to the ground to keep her out of the line of potential fire, then moves toward the noise to check it out.

The next character finds that the noise they heard was a wolf, alone, who seems to be following them.

Ghost would take this as a good omen and a sign the cure is working. Canines avoid the infected. He would move calmly and slowly, if the creature showed no signs of aggression he would offer it some food. If it showed any sign of attacking he would go up a tree.

The wolf turns out to be 1/2 dog and somwhat friendly, it follows your charicter all the way home.

Cora: "Well, this isn't the first time something like this has happened..." She can't keep it in her dorm, but since it seems very friendly, she takes it to the castle and asks if they could watch it. Attracting wild animals just kind of happens to her sometimes.

The character looks out the window to realize that the wolfdog wasn't alone... a whole bunch of wild animals have suddenly followed them. They don't seem hostile—quite the opposite, in fact...

That would be so badass! Pheonix Base already has quite a mistique because it is garded by dogs, something no place has been able to claim since the outbrake. Imagine if it were garded by panters, wolves, coyotes, lynxes, and fisher cats. After the initial shock wore off each character would adopt an intimidating creature to accompany them on dangerous missions. Julian would adopt a mountain lion and name it Tiny "cause that's just awesome " . He woud tran it to carry his equipment.

Your character and trusted wild animal are sent on a vital mission to deliver medicine to allies on the other side of the mountain. There is verry little time
