Three heroines, yes, and there's an enforced playing order. I think the second route could have been handled a little better or that there should have been more heroines.
Considering the other stuff AB 2 has done, I'm expecting this to be great =).
And another unique Bromantic Foil character. Nice.
Also, are the routes seperated like in G-Senjou No Maou? Or done more like a traditional VN?

You have to do Rizu first, and then you have the opportunity to go for Miku. After her, you can finish the story up with Miou. Each gets their own unique story. And it's not like you go onto a girl's route after exploring their character. Like traditional VNs, that comes during the route instead. However, the branching method is not entirely dissimilar to G Senjou No Maou
A Profile isn't as good as either Sharin No Kuni or G Senjou No Maou, but honestly that's to be expected: Both of those are amazing and A Profile is just pretty good. You can definitely tell that it has the same writers though.
As for the Bromantic Foil, yeah, I rather liked Kaine. It's interesting to see that he's actually pretty popular.
And man the description I gave A Profile sucks.

They make the craziest foils. Eiichi was hilarious. Isono was lolololololololol. Kaine seems interesting so far.
I think I liked Kaine most of the three. He's not really as funny as them, though.
Proceeding at a snail's pace due to various circumstances.
"I also showed her all twenty-eight discs of a super long galactic war anime and made her learn the names of every character and spaceship that appeared."
Does he mean... Oh gods.
Lol wtf, sardines, pharaohs, wtf, wtf

Yes. He made her memorize every single character in Legend Of Galactic Heroes.
Riko's a hilarious mother. So now we have 3 parental figures in AB 2. This one seems the most friendly but just as scary as the other two.
Well, there's Kyouko. And technically Kenichi's dead dad was an okay guy, if a little insane.
So there's obvious hinting about who the culprit is. For some reason, I am inclined to believe it. It's so obvious, that they expect us to not believe it. So obviously, it's true.
Yeah, going all Princess Bride here.

So who do you think it is then?
Obviously it's- Hey, what's that over there?
(Switches choice)
Yeah, I felt they were setting up really blatant hints for both of them. But I'm a paranoid reader and I wasn't entirely sure which you were referring to.
So it's either Miku or Miou I think. Going to find out soon.
Got a big surprise there.
Oh, thought you'd already finished it or I'd have worded that more ambiguously. Woops.
Yeah, I liked the twist at the end of the first route. Did not see it coming.
There were hints but considering the bro foils for the other games were all cast in more of a supporting role, this was completely unexpected. Eiichi doesn't do much at all for the plot except a bit at the end and Isono is pretty well informed but isn't a major driving force.
Really liked the twist.
Let me know when you've finished Rizu's route entirely. I hesitate to comment for fear of spoilers.
Rizu's route was great, even if Rizu herself wasn't very likable. I liked Miku the most out of the three heroines. Miou as a love interest didn't really work for me considering she's a complete psycho. I don't like psychologically broken characters as love interests on principle. I really liked Kaine. Not funny like Isono but a more dramatic and interesting character that had a lot of genuine friction with the protagonist.
I have no idea.I'm not sure how I feel about Miou. I certainly pity her, but I really dislike yanderes. Then again, she's pretty mild as far as yanderes go. Rizu struck me as worse. Overall, I'd say I liked Miku the most of the heroines.
Rizu was worse, but she seemed to have gotten over her past by the time the story starts. My complaint about characters like Miou as love interests is that it's unrealistic. Not to mention there's way too many 'protagonist saves heroine from her trauma' stories in V Ns.
I have no idea.Eh, I can understand her behavior, personally. Considering how she was treated, it's hardly surprising that she would have issues with Rizu and Masayuki. And really, it's kind of his fault that she's traumatized, if you want to use that word. So it's really pretty understandable that she'd have a 'save the girl from her trauma' kind of story. Still, there is something kind of off about it, especially since she's the main heroine. The cast dynamics are kind of weird in A Profile and the writing is a little weaker than either Sharin No Kuni or G Senjou No Maou.
Oh so it WAS Miou. Makes sense. I felt that they were forcing the narration to be too much like Miou, not to mention that one CG where it shows her and not Kaine. Was confused about that part.
Yeah, I felt trolled, then reverse trolled. Oh, Looseboy.
Full Battle ModeOkay, is it ever mentioned where the story takes place?
Yeah, crappy town, etc, etc, but is it Japan? I'm wondering because GSNM was clearly in Japan with Yakuza and stuff and Sharin was clearly in a seperate country. Just curious about this one.

Since I started reading it, might as well make a page.
So apparantly there're three girls in this one. That's what the intro leads me to believe. There's probably some deeper meaning behind it that I don't get until later but I'll forget about it for now.
