In most games it usually just increases your chances of getting good dice rolls wherever they impact the game.
Luck in most games generally means your critical hit chance and chance of evading enemy attacks. Might also lessen the chance of enemies critting you. It's sort of a wild card stat in most games.
I guess we could go... wherever we please. In some games Luck improves your drop rate.
Sometimes there are games which have abilities that scale in damage to luck.
In most games, however, luck increases all stats by a little.

Apocalypse: Dirge Of Swans.About to test out Max Luck in Xenosaga episode 3! Wait, was there even a luck stat in that game?
Y'know, there's several game guide sites that detail exactly what luck does in a given game. No need for one big Luck Site.
Single service sites are awesome! Also, I found no answers as to what luck does in XS 3. Then again, I'm beginning to wonder if this code is a hoax anyway (having issues getting the game running and I don't remember if there was a luck stat to begin with!)
We have an article on it, guys
Episode 1 doesn't have a Luck stat, so unless they seriously revamped the stat system between 1 and 3, 3 doesn't either.
They revamped lots of things between 1 and 3 :P I just don't remember WHAT. I'll double check once I get the damned game running.
What does Luck do in Persona 2 anyways?
Alt account of Angeldog 2437.From what the Luck Stat page says, more luck gives better Critical and Drop Rates in a Mega Ten game usually.
Fantastic Supreme Überkaiser Emperor Folt of The Infinity and Beyond" ... "The First"!That's cool.
Is it calculated by the party's average or just Tatsuya's/Maya's Luck?
Alt account of Angeldog 2437.No freakin' idea.
Fantastic Supreme Überkaiser Emperor Folt of The Infinity and Beyond" ... "The First"!Well, in Persona 2, each character has their own individual luck stat...
It's my understanding that Luck affects how often normal hits become critical hits in most RPGs. Make sense?
I liked it better when Questionable Casting was called WTH Casting AgencyYup. I was thinking it was the average of the party and then divided or something.
Uh-huh!
Alt account of Angeldog 2437.In Fire Emblem, Luck decreases enemy critical chance 1:1. It also decreases enemy hit rate in a 2 points of Luck to a 1% decrease in enemy hit. Crits are affected by weapon type, weapon mastery, class, supports, and half of your Skill stat.
In Golden Sun, it affects status effects. High Luck means high chance of success and low chance of being affected.

Ever wonder what luck does in that game you're playing? Well, now you can find out-
-except not, because I don't know jack shit about how to figure that out. Someone needs to make a website devoted to explaining what the luck stat in each individual game does.
