According to police, he shot himself.

While I admit I'm not the biggest fan of that kind of music, it's definitely sad to see someone who created something so big end up like this. Even if he was in poor health as the article indicates, it still makes you wonder why someone who did so much for the world ended it like that.

R.I.P., Don Cornelius. Bet there's a nice little jazz number, just for you.

Never knew of him. Or his show. But any death of that kind is a tragedy.

I saw the show a few times, mainly when I was really bored. Not my favorite, but still sad.
