I suppose things are different in the US or the UK in regards to potential extinctions. Here, things seem to be more balanced, for some reason.
Is there where we talk about how soft and cuddly our cats are?
Oh really when?Mostly, yes. For example, Eddie licks me on the nose when I come home after a day out. It's adorable
The last thing you hear before an unstoppable juggernaut bisects you with a minigun....I have an 8-year-old American Shorthair. She's cuddly and adorable. However, she manages to cover every article of clothing I own in thick black fur, so that's kind of a drawback, I guess.
I also have a hairless cat. She's also adorable.
Work hard, increase production, prevent accidents, and be happy.I wish I knew what kinda cat mine is.
Like how do you tell? He's my first cat, I'm usually a dog person.
Oh really when?Do you have a picture of him?
Where did you obtain him?
Appearance is the only way I know of to determine breed unless he was from a breeder or some such thing.

Not any good ones. He doesn't like to pose for pictures. I'll try to get one though.
I know he's a tuxedo cat but I'm pretty sure that's just his coloration and not his actual breed.
And we got him from my sister's friend. Her cat is an outdoors cat and one day she came home pregnant so we got him from her when he was a kitten.

Oh really when? Most of the critters cats catch around my parts are nothing more than varmints. Trash critters like mice. Stuff that no matter how many chemicals or cats or bullets you throw their way they never truly disappear.
I had a cat when I was a kid and she was an excellent hunter. Rid the yard, the nearby prairie and the neighborhood of field mice and gophers to nearly nothing (it took years of her doing it to get that way but still...). Yet when she got old the place had had rabbits move in and coyotes were sure to follow. We're pretty sure the coyotes got her in the end since she disappeared one night and never came back.
But those mice and gophers? Within a year or so of her being gone it was like she was never there to begin with.
"Allah may guide their bullets, but Jesus helps those who aim down the sights."Ground-nesting bird species are especially vulnerable to housecats and feral cats.
My cat has managed to chew through one power cord and two headphone cords (in all three cases they were unplugged thankfully, though honestly I probably would have been watching more closely and have been less half-hearted if they weren't). But still considering critter tape or whatever it's called.
He almost certainly has no specific type then unless his father was of the same breed as the mother cat.
The colouration you mention is not specific to any one breed.
He truly sounds like a most adorable and delightful cat though. ^_^

You most likely have the cat version of a mutt.

But it's causing preventable extinctions among small animal species. I'm a fan of cats too, but indoors is always best.
