Ah man I feel that style. I'm way closer to her drawings than yours, but slightly better so I can just kinda see some of the issues. Is it hard to capture that amateur feel, or is it easier than it looks?

It's fairly easy. You Google "bad anime drawings" and copy a few of the results with a pencil, adding a few more egregious mistakes. Each one took about five minutes. (They were also surprisingly funny.) I'll probably post the pictures when I get a chance to resize them and 'shop them into one image.

Yeah, I'm definitely closer to her drawings than to yours.

I've been lurking around following this comic for a while, and I must say, I'm really enjoying it so far, and looking forward to seeing where things are headed.

Hmm ... I'm not good at giving criticism without creating walls of text, so I'll just say I find this comic ... intriguing, yes, and I wish you good luck with your work on it.

I'd actually appreciate a long critique, but if you choose not to write one, I understand. (I know how time-consuming it can be.) Thank you either way, though.

Well, it was more about the fact that I tend to derail myself and some people don't want sudden walls of text that are only half about the criticised material.

No. I could have if I wanted, but it would have been a waste of time.

That's a series of scans from an actual dictionary, made transparent and warped onto the pages with Photoshop.

Oh well I have alwways foudn the theme of escapism fascinating and I find this interesting. She isn't certainly your average protagonist that's for sure.

Wait until you see her after the Time Skip.

Thank you. I think, now that I've gotten a tablet and practiced a lot with Photoshop. It's even better.

I've always wanted to mentally build my own castle like that. Unfortunately I never had the brain for it. It's an entire memory training technique, apparently.

Well, it's worth noting that, as a minor spoiler, Laurie's has no logical or even consistent layout.
