While the original version is a Villain Song, I can't help but feel the reprise is darker. although i do i think it would be best if the original version we use is not dark (as opposed to less dark).
I've not seen said movie, and I can't really tell what's going on either.
I haven't seen the movie either, and the picture makes no sense to me. #22 suggested two songs from Hairspray - I think that might work if the pictures really convey the reprise. I couldn't find any either, though.
ETA: what about Sweeney Todd's reprise of Johanna + the original sung by Anthony?

Odd, I could tell exactly what was going on, and I haven't seen the movie.

@Tele - yes, that was my avi. I'm called 'animeg' for a reason i.e. I like 'anime' or in fact any cartoons I can get my hands on. Including Disney.
@bananasloth Unfortunately, in Tim Burton's version everything looks dark even when Anthony's singing. Instead of "good song, evil evil" it looks like "dark song, darker song."
Clock's up; locking for inactivity/lack of consensus. No action is to be taken based on this thread.
@Alex, #23: 1) I disagree; many, many people haven't seen it. At school I am one of about four who have, in a yeargroup of 330. 2) It's been out for about three years, which isn't long enough for us to spoil spoilers.
That said, just as with any Disney princess movie, there's a happy ending (I don't think that bit needs a spoiler tag). It isn't exactly suprising or unexpected when the reprise happens in that way (hopefully I phrased that so it doesn't need a tag either). So I think it's a spoiler, but not exactly a large or awful one.
@Animeg: ... Is it just me, or is that the princess from Enchanted in your avatar?
