Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.I like Abe Simpson the most.
Fight smart, not fair. Those are all good. But the Abe Simpson one is already the image for Grumpy Old Man. I'd go with the Daily Show pic.
This is what I first thought of. Double fist-shaking action.
It turns out there are at least 6 fist-shakes in just the opening of the Simpsons. God and Satan◊, one from Grounds-keeper willie, the two babies, and one from Wiggum.

Haha, that was my first thought too! I thought I could find an image of it but I couldn't, the search only yielded my other two simpsons images.
...but I like Old Man Stewart best so far still. And I think live action TV is underrepresented. Possibly The Simpsons overrepresented.
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.Simpsons are ubiquitous because the images are visually simple and the trope is immediately visible. I don't know if the Stewart one is worse by any means, but live-action like that is way busier.
Possibly it is overrepresented. I make no appeal to why.

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan. They are sort of overrepresented. I mean, they deserve to be, but I'd rather have some variety, so I'd vote for the Steward pic.
I like Jon Stewart, so I vote his pic.

If a chicken crosses the road and nobody else is around to see it, does the road move beneath the chicken instead? That posted Simpsons one is blurry and small. Not saying it's unusable, just that I'd prefer something higher quality.
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.Media Player UI and empty space cropped off:
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.
Like that one better.
Fight smart, not fair.Anyone know the context of that scene? It's for both curiosity and for seeing any captions we can get out of it.
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.I like Stewart better because of the face.

Stewart looks pretty good.

ok boomerAw man, and here I was, set to suggest using a frame from this thing◊.
I have a message from another time...We did not have consensus yet. I don't care (that's really Willbyr's place), but for future reference in a thread with this few votes, you need more of a consensus before switching.

I'm not going to pull it off the page just yet, but we do need a couple more votes for that one before definitely calling this one done.
As long as we put a link to the scene in the caption, I'm good with the picture.
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid. Why? (Don't care whether or not there is such a link, but that demand seems unprecedented.)
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.
I rented some episodes of Inspector Gadget off Netflix, hoping that Dr. Claw would show a good example, but what he does it okay, and the picture quality isn't that good in those shots either.
So I'm asking if anyone else can find a good picture of someone clearly shaking one's fist in rage.
