Trope is an effect, not an item alone.: Heart Container

Um that is totally a Heart Container, and it is called a "heart container". The image shows gaining a health bar instead of just telling us about it. And it's in NES graphics so the rim isn't as elaborate :P But it looks how it looks, it's great.

He was talking about the Ocarina of Time picture with the second-most votes, not the old school Zelda picture.

Yeah, I am disagreeing.

Um, why?

Because the N64 image just tells us about gaining a health bar instead of showing it. The original Zelda image relies much less on text. And I think it looks better.

I was just talking about the fact that it's a Heart Piece, not a Heart Container, which you seemed to be disagreeing with.

Heart Pieces didn't show up until later games. That is a Heart Container. And it wouldn't matter what the item is called, anyway, it's just extra good that's the Trope Namer.

I know that the NES Zelda picture doesn't show a heart piece. Like I said, he wasn't talking about that picture. He was talking about this◊ picture of a heart piece, which, at the time, had a lot of votes.

Well, the crowner's been going for a week, and we have a clear leader. I'd say we can go with it.

Well we can at least get some caption suggestions. I just can't think of any right now.

Nah, that's when a moblin gives you money. I can see a lot of fans getting upset about that detail. But the main problem is that it's not really relevant.

Yeah, captions from moments other than the trope are definitely wrong.

Seriously, that caption does not fit. It doesn't come from a situation that has anything to do with the trope.

I tend to agree, and since it's been since Friday, I think we're good to lock this.
