Better than Fuzors, but not good enough to save the series.
Currently rewatching New Century, which was the only one I ever actually watched as a fan in the first place. Probably not gonna comment in this thread, though, except to say that I did love New Century.
Harry Champ! The man destined to be GOD OF THE NEW WORLD!

The sad, REAL American dichotomyNew Century was the only one I actively followed as a fan, but I saw bits and pieces of the first two seasons. I recently rewatched New Century as well, where are you up to?
Harry Champ proves that Brad Swaile is awesome as hell.
Really from Jupiter, but not an alien.Harry Champ need to start living up to his last name.
He's also a Blonde turk, and a Net Saver.
One Strip! One Strip! So I just finished rewatching CC and GF.
1. Guardian Force is way better. It does a superb job of conveying how nigh-unstoppable first the Geno Breaker and then the Death Stinger are. It also didn't start off as weak as Chaotic Century did. CC only got really good around halfay through.
2. Hiltz is definitely the best villain. He has the most smug and dickish attitude.
3. I made a (very crappy) video! It's just clips because I wanted to show off how powerful the Death Stinger was but it has some wonderful Hiltz being a dick.
4. I had forgotten just how awesome the music was.
Really, New Century Zero was good robot fun but it just didn't have the power of the original anime which was an epic clash of good and evil.
There was some guy who put Zoids on the Idiot Plot page claiming Hiltz was an idiot who could have achieved his goal at any time but didn't. Good thing I saw that error and corrected it. Hiltz -couldn't- achieve his plan because the Death Stinger wasn't completed until way later.
Of course he did cause a ton of havoc for pure sport but it was just to entertain him until he could start annihilating the populace in earnest.

I really need to watch CC and GF in full sometime. But I have so many other things I have to watch as well.
I know how you feel. I should be finishing a video game and my book right now but I got stuck with DBZ and then this.
and tomorrow I'll get my Dragonball DV Ds so I'll be spending all my time on that instead of beating my game.
I'll have watch the series I have on disc first... so I guess I'll see the thread in two years when I finally get to watching Zoids?
What I like about CC compared to New Century Zero is the continuous plot.
I don't care for episodic stories much. NCZ was fun yes but there was no real conflict until the last couple episodes. It was just a new whacky adventure each episode.
Although I will say this.
1. The Judges were hilarious.
2. Harry Champ was the best character. God knows why he likes Leena though. Bitch be crazy.
I wish we had seen more of Vege. He was cool and all but after Raven, Vega needed more than three or so episodes to truly establish himself as a great antagonist.

I really liked how NCZ was light-hearted though. I found it really enjoyable all the way through.
Zoids Genesis was alright. Nothing too special.
Zoids: Chaotic Century + Guardian Force was the best anime series of the franchise though. It's a pain in the ass that I can't find any copy of a japanese episode of Zoids: Chaotic Century. Viz media butchered the hell out of it.
"I don't give a rat's ass about going to hell. I guess it's because I feel like I'm already there." -MugenI enjoy episodic shows, plots that are finished in one sitting before touching on a new topic. Its not as if the plot can't develop under those circumstances, I find the "arc based" chaotic century to be the inferior show. The only thing I think that was going against New Century was The Adventure Continues Take Our Word for It ending. I think it just left fans wanting more and its successors didn't satisfy.
Anybody like the Marvel UK comic?
Modified Ura-nage, Torture RackI was wondering why Zoids has yet to be Represented in Super Robot Wars?
Watch SymphogearUm, it has. Genesis was in Super Robot Wars K.
Hmm, interesting, though I would like to see more of the other Zoids in something like Super Robot Wars Z, or something.
Watch SymphogearHeh. So out of nowhere I re-watched some eps of New Century. It's still the only series I care enough about to watch. It was simplistic, but that's ok. The battles more than made up for it to be honest.
Maybe one day, I'll actually bothers with Chaotic Century/Guardian Force at least.
I actually saw a few eps of the latter during a trip to England, but never saw any more than that.
One Strip! One Strip!I thought Fuzors was very cool. :) No thanks to my work schedule back then, though, I didn't get to see all of it. :(
I like to keep my audience riveted. So, I'm not sure why, but I ended up watching a few eps of Genesis.
I'd seen the first ep years ago, so I mostly just picked up from episode 2.
Nothing much to say: There's a Shadow Fox in episode 4 (my favourite Zoid) but it lacks the awesome run animation of it's New Century counterpart, and is therefore inferior.
Morbidly curious as to how the Murasame's sword holds up against the laser blades of the Blade Liger or Liger Zero Schneider.
One Strip! One Strip!Have seen a lot of New Century and some of Chaotic Century. Also saw like...one...two? Episodes of Fuzors?
I've watched all the 26 episodes of Zoids New Century. The anime is not good or bad, just decent, but i expected more.
Bit Cloud reminded me of Cloud Strife, spiky hair and all, even his japanese voice actor is the same.
Strike Laser Claw!!Been watching more of Genesis just for shits and giggles. Up to Episode 8.
Is this the first series to imply that the Zoids need some kind of fuel? I've only ever watched New Century, and it was never brought up there.
Also looked at some clips of Fuzors... what the hell happened to the animation quality? Seemed to have taken a massive dip. I mean, I loved the running animations for Zoids like the Liger and the Shadow Fox in New Century, but even though the Liger seems to run the same in fuzors, what little I've seen of the series failed to impress me.
One Strip! One Strip!I used to watch Genesis/Chaotic Century when it came on early morning CN (just did a google search, nah, I thought Genesis was the "first half" of CC, it wasn't so I never saw that one). New Century Zero was on Toonami for awhile and the Tournament Arc format blended well with other shows I was watching like Dragonball, G Gundam, and Yu Yu Hakusho.
I never liked how the Zoids in NCZ always seemed to go down after a few hits. CC Zoids always seemed to have a little more fight in them.
Watched a little bit of Fuzors but I was getting disinterested in CN around the time, so I don't know if I really gave it a fair chance.
This is another on a long list of shows I should make time to rewatch but haven't.

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!
Heh, I just caught a full episode of Chaotic Century on Youtube for the first time (I'd watched a few episodes of Guardian Force back in 2002).
That opening theme isn't quite as chill as Wild Flowers is it?
One Strip! One Strip!
How well received was Genesis?
