Its been a while since I've finished Rev's story, but I do sorta feel what you mean. But its a fucking Anime story, what'd you expect.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Ehhhhhhh-nime.
There are good ones, of course. My personal favourite has gotta be Everything Ariels says when Leo and Ky confront her at the party. There's something about her that manages to separate her from other typical 'Joker-esque' villains, maybe it's how legitimately off the wall her dialogue is, or how she is actually presented in public as a respectable, noble figure. I haven't pinned it down, but I do like this character.
This particular philosophy exposition is also played differently from the rest, seeing as it's meant to creep you out and tell you exactly what you need to know about the character.

"Shake the dust." - Anis MojganiIt is a lot of talk not show but the ideas expressed, the motivations are interesting enough to me.
I'm fond of philosobabble
Like Axel, everything with Bedman, I-no and Raven
Ariels sure was something
Literally spent like an hour beating Raven up with everyone just to see their victory quotes against him. And just as expected I-No's was the best.
Heart of StoneI'm impartial to May's win quote to Raven myself.
"That's not how you use chopsticks buddy."
"Shake the dust." - Anis MojganiWhat was her quote?
"Please crush me with your heels Esdeath-sama!I forget the exact wording, but it's basically 'Hope you got off from that.'
Heart of StoneThe I-No X Raven ship is an oddball one that's for sure.

You guys notice how Stay in the Kitchen Ky's win quote to Dizzy is?
But then I realized that as her husband, Ky knows better than a lot of people how much Dizzy abhors violence, so perhaps he feels she shouldn't force herself to engage in something she hates for his sake?
Anyway, in the interest in keeping this thread alive, here's a meme.
"Shake the dust." - Anis MojganiI mean, Ky is a straight example of a Knight in Shining Armor and he knows how much Dizzy hates fighting and violence. Stay in the Kitchen is only really bad when its clear the person receiving is capable of handling themselves and wants that.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.I forget if it's either May or Millia, but one of them's victory quote against Raven just gets straight to the point.
"You're... a pervert"
Srsly though Raven's great.

Heart of StoneI'm pretty sure Ky and Dizzy's relationship is one of mutual love and respect.
The contrast between dour and masochistic Raven is boggling.
Dizzy herself puts it best in her win quote versus Elphelt.
So basically this game's a horde of interesting and/or amusing quotes.
Another from Dizzy.
About Raven. Is his dimensional magic an innate ability, like a gear's, or is it something he learned via spellbooks or some kind of tutelage?
GG just went on sale, $20 for PS3, $24 for PS4
And with that, I finally got the game myself.
Excellent, I know what I'm doing.
How's the PS 3 scene for Revelator?
Depends, online or offline?
Former is decent, latter...I have no idea where you live.

If online is still good, then that settles it.
There's a rumor going around that Baiken and Anji are set to be released for Revelator.
The evidence so far? These two screenshots.
These characters are supposedly going to be officially revealed at Arc Revo, which is going on now. Tis just a rumor, but it's certainly news. Besides, rumors aside, Xrd Arc Revo Top 8 is still something worth paying attention to.
EDIT: Oh yeah, you can check out a stream of Arc Revo here.
EDIT 2: Oop, turns out it was a very impressive hoax. Moving on.

"Shake the dust." - Anis MojganiIt would be really neat to see what he can do.
I expect Baiken and Robo Ky to be released eventually and if not Anji, learn about him.
Like I can even see Bridget coming back but ABA might be out of luck
In a similar fashion to Dizzy, Zappa is ridiculously detailed, so I'd love to see him if only to see how Team Red accomplishes animating him well.
"Shake the dust." - Anis MojganiI don't know if they could really bring Zappa back considering you know, he's not possessed anymore.
Can we talk about how Revelator's story is overdosed with scenes where a character explains their personal philosophy? Seems like the writers' go-to whenever they wanna make a scene meaningful, and the results are somewhat mixed, as there are so many that by the halfway point you're just going 'oh here they go again'.
