I just don't know if she's a Game Awards type of announcement, to be honest.

Can't say why.

Plus, I picked her because I like her, even if she's kinda plain ass silly.

Considering it's the Game Awards, I'm expecting a heavily requested character.

I'm going to throw my hats in the rings of Slayer or Jam.

I'm hoping for it to be a new character like Nagoriyuki, Giovanna, and Goldlewis.

we have a pretty good idea on who the character is, considering that said character was leaked a few days ago

said character is Elphelt. her new portrait, model, and some moves were leaked a while ago

All the people insisting the leak was totally photoshopped sure look quite silly now.

Not quite sure how I feel about the redesign, Though I need to see her in motion first.

i've already talked with my friends about it a lot, since we caught the leak right as it happened

i really really REALLY miss the bunny ears and wedding dress. Elphelt's very first design was great and did something unique with the punk aesthetics mixed with the bride aesthetics.

her new design is still good, i think. im always a sucker for dresses and jackets and i love the spiked collar and bracelets. its a little silly that she went from 'Guns N Roses' to just 'Guns N '.

i think a perfect culmination of her designs would be the punk wedding dress from Sign with the leather jacket from Strive (and, of course, a variation of her bunny ears)

I'm really not a fan of the redesign, it feels way too drastic of a departure from her old look, and at this point pretty much every recognizable element is gone (Pink hair? No more. Bunny ears? Nah. Boobs? Must've been sacrificed to Baiken or something.)

The only thing they need to do to completely kill the character for me is reveal Cassandra Lee wasn't brought back to voice her.

she hasn't had pink hair since Xrd which is way more of a defining appearance than Sign given the story and her competitive capabilities. and... boobs?? what design have you looked at? she's still got boob for days AND egregious sideboob

And they made the right call and got Cassandra Lee back to voice her.

I can still likely get the pink hair back with an alt color.

Only thing lost is the boob size, which you know what? Not a big deal.

Yeah. Gonna miss her old theme.

Don't see many people going into battle in a Wedding Dress.

But....I kinda like this new thing for her as well.

Plus, I think that, in universe, the Wedding look was something forced on her by the previous villain (who's name I now can't remember) so it'd make sense she'd move away from it.

there's no need to be a weirdo about girls' bodies. her breasts aren't even smaller she's just not wearing an open top anymore
