skyrim, deepwood redoubt

was running a sidequest there and those motherfuckin' Forsworn

actually just one Forsworn in particular, a dual-wielding Briarheart at the center of the Deepwood Vale that can inexplicably cut down my 40-something Argonian warrior in about three hits

bastard killed me like four times, put Forsworn up to #2 on my kill list, just under Thalmor

also, joining a global event in SSX 2012 with a 1,000,000+ credit entry fee, then having EA's server connection crap out halfway down the run

I've said it before, I'll say it again - X-COM: Enemy Unknown does not autosave by default.

Curse the ill fortune that led you to me.

In World of Tanks, having to grind ANY of the low-tier French tanks, especially their Tier IV and V stuff (the ELC AMX being the one exception).

Any time in pokémon when Save Scumming to catch a legendary over and over to hope it has better stats than the last one. Because putting a random number god in charge of the potential power of something that is obtainable only once during the game is bullshit.

Also critical hits when I really don't want or need them.
