It's not JAFAAC but it isn't the best demonstration. I don't get why the collage is necessary. It seems like a two-paneler would be best, of like say Mario about to get hit by a Goomba and then him dying in the next panel.
EDIT: OK upon taking the extra two seconds to read the page and the laconic (derp) it seems like this trope isn't just about being killed by enemies, but by the environment as well...so Keep Until Better Image Suggested. I still think we can do way better but I dunno if this demands a pull.

The laconic is wrong. The trope is about characters dying in one hit. That's it. I'll change the fail laconic to be correct.
Mario is not an example, so he shouldn't provide the page image, especially since there's still no indication of a one hit death.
Ah, alright then. My bad.
Support pull.
Mario isn't an example? The classic games lost him a life with one hit. Just because he gains an extra one with a powerup doesn't make him not this trope without them.
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.Yes it does. The fact that he can increase his hit point count makes him Not An Example.
Mario doesn't have hit points. Or at he least didn't have hit point back when I paid attention to such things last century, when dinosaurs ruled the earth and the original Mario was soled packaged together with Duck Hunt.
The trope is about characters that die in one hit. Usually said characters don't have a hit point bar. It's not about "having hit points", exactly.
Also, agree with OP that this is probably not picturable. A collage is just more than one example. A before/after with (e.g.) Mario about to be touched by a Goomba then dying wouldn't say he dies in one hit, just that was the last hit.

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.+1 to pull; having a collage of these characters doth not a demonstration of the trope make.
Supporting pull. This couldn't be much more JAFAAC.
This probably can't be picturable.

Support Gravitaz on Kickstarter!I vote Keep Until Better Image Suggested.
Also I agree that a sequence of two or three images from the same game would be better.
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight!Note: That is not Mario, that is Jumpman, the character from the original Donkey Kong arcade game. In that game, you only had one hit point. If you got hit by a barrel or flame or fell more than an inch on the screen, you died. Jumpman counts for this trope, as does the picture of him on the page.
Jumpman was Mario. Point remains that it's from Donkey Kong, not Super Mairo Bros.
An Ear Worm is like a Rickroll: It is never going to give you up.Pulled.
^ We never came to a consensus to pull it. I'm supporting the Keep Until Better Image Suggested suggestion.
So... we're just gonna let him take the picture off and leave it like that? I was quite satisfied with it.
You could have put it back. Since there was no consensus, then there wasn't reason to pull.
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.Well since it doesnt show the trope at all I dont know how you could actually put it back up.
We are going to need an example of someone having 1/1 hp. I was looking for a screenshot of its usage in Dragon Quest VI after you land in the isle in the sky but I cant find it at all..
Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!No consensus to pull. I know the hard way, but I'm sticking with the guideline in the interest of fairness.
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid. Why? It does not show the trope at all. Do you just not care about JAFAAC?
I support pulling, but we have to wait for consensus, and then about a day.
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.Exactly how many votes for pulling constitutes a consensus?
I think it's perfectly KUBiS.
Rhymes with "Protracted."How? It does not show the trope. It shows six random extremely pixelated people dieing with no context that the person was a one hit point wonder. (Even the deaths are hard to make out with the image.)
It's a Just Take Our Word For It JAFAAC.

Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!It's not JAFAAC because it has context. A close-up of Jumpman's head would be JAFAAC. This does not fit any of the criteria for an automatic pull, and several people think it's a decent illustration.
Hence, Keep Until Better Image Suggested.
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight!
Crown Description:
Vote up for yes, down for no.
There is no indication in any of these screenshots that these characters die in one hit. In fact, some of them aren't even shown dying. The caption isn't providing any context either; just commenting on how old the trope is.
This trope is probably unpicturable. Motion to pull and leave imageless.
