The original pic would work if there were some other shots of what happens right before he's reduced to riding a tricycle while holding a lollipop. Spongebob went sand-boarding right past him so fast that it reduced him to that.

The image is pretty unclear as to what needs to be explained. It looks like a child on a trike with an ice cream bar and cotton candy, who is surprised that a woman is skiing right by him on the sand; reading the actual explanation down below gives a totally different situation.
