Definitely understand wanting to avoid a list of crimes, three of them no less. I mean, I would anyway, but especially so considering the primary misused sense is exactly that, and the Arson, Murder, and Jaywalking trope is really about lists that end weak, not (just) lists of crimes that end weak.

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.OK, fine... What else is this trope used for besides crimes? Give an example, and maybe it'll work for a pic.
Any kind of list, as long as the last item just really doesn't fit. It could be heroic deeds, fashion accessories, theme naming for kids.
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.[1]?
Rhymes with "Protracted."In theory. In practice that's effectively less than one percent of it's usage in media.
That's still listing crimes or transgressions and it takes the whole strip.

Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickI'm really fine with using a List of Transgressions for the image here, considering the overwhelming majority of examples for this trope are such lists. It's practically a sub-trope.
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight!OK WHY HASNT THIS PICTURE BEEN CHANGED????????
I will always cherish the chance of a new beggining.I let the thread linger precisely to draw that reaction from you.
Anyone else like the wanted poster?
...Yes.
Do we have enough for a crowner or what?
And if I claim to be a wise man, well, it surely means that I don't know. One or two more votes and we can just run with the wanted poster, unless people just want a crowner.
I'll support the wanted poster.
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.Dammit, dammit, dammit, I have got to start looking more closely at the trope pages. This is another page that has medium-specific subpages, and per the notice at the top of page 1, it's preferred that the subpages have the pics. I'm going to put the wanted poster on the Western Animation page and ask that the pic on the main page be moved to the Webcomic page. Locking up.
Another +1 for the wanted poster.
