A Fanfic Idea

I've been fooling around with this idea for a month or so, ad I want to see some feedback on it:

It's a crossover of Death Note/GOSICK/Code Geass/Eva

0. There is no shipping

1. The main characters of Death Note and Eva have their ages fixed so that this can take place in 2017

2. Kujo moves to Britannia, changes his name to Quillish Wammy, and becomes a famous inventor

3. Light and Shinji are Honorary Britannians

4. Wammy's House is not only an orphanage, but also a boarding school, and Shinji is sent there

5. Suzaku is an Eva pilot—his father's soul is stuffed into the Eva

6. Marianne was to put her soul into an Eva, but what with V.V. killing her, she still resides in Anya

7. Zero and Kira have no connection—Light now goes to Ashford Academy

8. Asuka is transferred from the EU

9. C.C. was originally in SEELE's custody

10. Near is a clone of L, born from Adam, and with L's soul when he dies, similar to Rei or Kaworu.....

11. Charles di Britannia is also funding NERV, so Chairman Kiel and Gendo have to find some way of working against his interests while still reaping the benefits. Of course, Gendo is still working against Kiel...

12. L is only after Kira, he is badgered to go after Zero, but he complains that that is a political matter, he works for himself only

13. The Eva is based on a thirteenth-generation Knightmare Frame with some technical help by Lloyd and Cecile.

Don't attempt it unless you can pull it off. You have to be some sort of GOD to pull Death Note/Eva/Code Geass/and GOSICK together, in my opinion.

It has the air of an author trying too hard. The most ambitious I've ever thought of was Eva/Naruto/Suzumiya Haruhi, and I probably won't end up writing that because it's just too strange.

I've resolutely avoided any Trope Overdosed anime, so I have no real advice... but I felt that this point deserved some kind of praise, at least.

I've also left this open. If anyone else wants to do this, I'll wholeheartedly support them. I'm trying right now...

Okay, then the next question: can you write a bunch of Magnificent Bastards? Just lifting a bunch of characters that canonically are isn't going to be enough - you'll have to write them at that level yourself, and trust me, that's not easy.

You need to expand your themes, man.

Yeah, as nrjxll said, we're talking some complex characters here. I haven't seen much at all of Eva or Death Note, and I have no clue what GOSICK is, but just with Code Geass you'll have your hands full with the characterization...
