Funkin' Origins Plus is a mod for Friday Night Funkin' by Team Wisps, serving as a crossover with Sonic the Hedgehog, specifically the Sonic Origins game compilation.

This mod contains the following examples:
- Art Shift: At several points throughout "Checkpoint", alongside the Free Play songs, the art style switches to that of the 16-bit games, with Sonic and BF portrayed in Sonic 1 sprites.
- Interface Screw: Triggering Metal Sonic's secret will cause the game window to move about uncontrollably all over the screen while Metal himself taunts you. The game eventually closes before a reload reveals something harrowing...
- No Plot? No Problem!: The main premise of the mod is simply Sonic and Boyfriend singing against each other. However, this is subverted come "Egghead", where a small plot based on your regular Sonic story is introduced.
- Nostalgia Level: "Checkpoint" has this in spades, with the 16-bit sections harkening back to the various classic Sonic levels. Five of these are given the spotlight for the five Free Play songs.
- Schmuck Bait: The main menu hints to the presence of Metal Sonic, and even drops how to find him at some point. However, should you go for the bait, after some Interface Screw and a forced restart of the mod, you do find him, but he can't be fought, due to having been chained up by Robotnik. However, he decides to wipe any achievements and medals you have acquired up to that point for good measure.
