Finger in the Mail is a much better name, and a broader trope to boot. I'm perfectly happy to see Mary Kelly's Kidney absorbed by Finger in the Mail.
Fight smart, not fair.I agree with that.
There are no heroes left in Man.Lemme get this straight, the police already have to body but the killer is mailing part that where missing from it?
Seems like it. Never seen it happen, though.
There are no heroes left in Man.There is now a page action crowner for this trope here. Feel free to add options as you see fit.
Since January 1, 2011 this article has brought 2 people to the wiki from non-search engine links.
Body Part Mail Taunt might be good for this, if we wish to keep the trope separate.
Yeah, unwritten rule number one: follow all the unwritten procedures. - CamacanBumping. We appear to have an overwhelming consensus in favor of a merge.
Would it be best to continue forward with the YKTTW, and move examples and wicks over from Mary Kelly's Kidney after launch?
I would say yes.
SPATULA, Supporters of Page Altering To Urgently Lead to Amelioration (supports not going through TRS for tweaks and minor improvements.)Made a notice in the YKTTW about this thread's decision.
If there isn't anything left for us to do here, I'll holler for a mod to lock shop.
Calling crowner. Locking thread.
I didn't write any of that.
Crown Description:
What would be the best way to fix the page?
Do you know who Mary Kelly is? Or why her kidney is supposed to be significant?
On top of the name being obscure, the trope description describes something so very specific (a Serial Killer mailing a missing body part from one of his victims to the police to taunt them) that most of the current examples don't even belong here. Someone in YKTTW started a new article roughly a week ago, Finger in the Mail, about kidnappers and hostage takers delivering body parts to prove they have somebody in their custody, but the YKTTW stalled when it was realized all the examples that would fit on this potential new page were already being cataloged on Mary Kelly's Kidney, even though that page is describing a completely different occurrence.
