The giant's face is suddenly assailed by bullets, and after a moment, it raises its axe to block the rest, moaning in anger.

Group 2

... It's small. But there it is.

Rotten thing, but if this is the only way...

Group 3

The figure keeps chopping, and chopping, and chopping.

Before stopping, and speaking in a voice, foreign to these parts.

"... Beasts, all over the shop... you'll be one of them, sooner or later..."

The figure turns to Achrich, despite his hiding

Revealing a haggard man, with wrappings around his eyes, wielding a Hunter's Axe, and a Dragon pistol

And he's giving a low growl.

"Chill, Casanova, let's focus on getting there to back them up. With our luck, Charlie's already pissed off another giant monster that's about to, I dunno...eat Hoshi or something, this night's been crap so far."

As she gave a quick, too quick to catch command to the drone behind her, still unseen in the chapel as it fired slow shots after shots—trading rate of fire slowly for more Oomph behind each round, she scrambled out of the chapel.

From her vest, she unhooked a grenade and held it in her hands as her other hand unslung the rifle, bringing it to a ready position while she looked at Charlie and Hoshi. "G-get in! Q-Quickly!"

(shrinks that Poké Ball back down to ping-pong size, replacing it back on his belt... that Pokémon is gonna have to wait for a bit)

(he then pulls out the first Ball on his belt - Grayson's)

See, if we can attack this thing from multiple fronts... then...

(THROW)

(Grayson the Charizard bursts forward in a flash of bluish-white light popping from the Poké Ball, taking flight)

Then it beats the heck out of attacking it blindly!

(POINT)

Thunder Punch!

(Grayson clenches his fist, summoning lightning around it once more, before rearing to punch the Distracted Giant with said fist)

(it's not as powerful as it was when he was Mega Evolved - signified by its lightning being yellow rather than blue - but it's still got a good oomph to it)

(and also do not forget that handy 10% para chance)

(changes into his solar system form and aligns his planets, so he can squeeze his way through.)

Group 3

(focuses again and changes into her Windos form. Bet you haven't seen that form in a while.)

How precognitive of you! But I agree, I am more than positive something's mad in there.

-Seeing he's been found out, Achrich goes to grab a stone, through it at Papa Gascan, and then run away-

Group 1

The Giant manages to press forward, slowly, despite the stronger force of the bullets.

It staggers somewhat at the Thunder Punch, but in retaliation, it tries backhanding Grayson out of the air, giving a chilling groan as it lethargically does so.

Group 2

At the end of the hole in the wall, you see... a ladder. Makeshift, but not as poorly made as the one outside.

There's light seeping through the top, light from the sunset.

... sunset.

How long has it been sunset for...?

Father Gascoigne

Gascoigne sprints at full force, beelining for Achrich, powering through the stone without an ounce of effort.

And he brings down his axe, yelling.

"Sorry, ride's over!"

-Frigid drops Orson (gently and close to the ground) before activating Kaioken x2 and launching a volley of ki blasts at the Giant-

-Co'dro emerges from the shadows, roaring and bellowing half in anger and half in pain, and goes to smack Gascoigne in the shins with its staff-

-It's mostly diversionary; Co'dro knows it's not going to do much damage just from whacking him with a wooden staff-

(ohp there's yelling)

-Achirch hops like a toad to avoid the strike, continuing his attempt to flee, roaring and making a massive racket in the process-

(Charizard might be somewhat stout, but that doesn't mean it's slow - Grayson just aileron-rolls out of the smack's way)

(looks back at Liman and Frigid as they continue to fire)

Keep it busy on the upper body! Might not bring it down, but it'll distract it.

She peers up through the hole where the ladder leads.

...It's been too long.

The wanderer walks forward with them, readying his claymore again.

No objections here!

-Takes a running start once he's let down... though upon noting the big giant being gunned down, he immediately makes a sharp turn behind cover to observe the situation-

My oh my we just are not getting a break are we?

"[Hey, b-big person! O-Over here!]", Liman cried out as she ran to the side, putting some space between the Giant and her while she tries flanking him as she fired shots. Taking note of where Grayson and Frigid is, she ran towards where the Giant does not have anything firing at it at the moment, firing her rifle at it and holding the grenade in her other hand as Grayson engages the Giant.

From beyond the chapel door, there is a brief crackle as another volley of bullets— or rather, a bullet— slams towards the Giant's torso, leaving a visible trail of ionized air and electric arcs behind it moments before there is a zap from behind the doors, and a stream of blue light and electricity flowed from within, coalescing and collecting into a device around Liman's waist.

"Recharing..." "Tch."

(changes back to human form) Indeed. Maybe the cathedral might have some shelter available? (climbs up the ladder)

Group 3

(Windos readies her shields and flies into combat.)

-luis runs over and was about to get ready for battle, but then he stopped when he realized something-

Group 1

Frigid's onslaught of blasts finally break its guard, the onslaught of bullets becoming too much for it to take.

In sheer wrath and anger, the giant, roars, lifting its axe, taking a step forward, and trying to slam it upon Liman with all its might.

You can hear a snap as it does it, and its shinbone slides right out of its skin.

Group 2

As the gang climb or prepare, they hear two noises.

A ghastly roar, followed by a horrid slam.

Seems something's getting into a fight up there.

Father Gascoigne, the Hunter

Gascoigne aims his gun at Achrich, but Co'dro's distraction seems to have worked.

Because now he's swinging right at him, with far more force than someone his already-considerable size would be expected to. It's outright supernatural.

(POINT)

Dragon Claw!!

(Grayson summons a green energy claw over his right hand, and with a ROAR swoops down to slash at the exposed shinbone)

("I hope this is gonna be like the movies, where this stops that blow before it hits...")

-Achirch continues trying to beat a hasty retreat and keep out of danger-

-Gets slammed right in the chest and tumbles backwards, screeching unhappily as a good chunk of its vines are cut apart-

-Co'dro totters back and holds its staff up, trying to pivot to the defensive-

-But at the same time, it's muttering some incantations, making some arcane runes flicker into the air around it-

"Liman! Ugh...times ten!"

-Frigid's aura flares up more than even as at he dashes at Liman at blazing speed, trying to shove her out of the way...and take the hit himself-
