Well, exactly how much can the average Servant take? If one shot isn't enough to kill, maim, or seriously disable, he has no other weapons. All he'd be able to do is sit there and take the beating till cooldown's done (which he could do with his Endurance, but still).

Exactly. An A++ strike should be more than enough, really. I believe that if Saber had been able to call on the full power of Excalibur, rather than being gimped to the mini-blasts she used through Fate route, she would have been able to defeat Berserker in one shot, all 12 lives and all.

That's what I meant when I said that having to use it more than twice on the same guy means that you've already lost.

Well then, okay. I take it back. That does seem sufficient, given the prana cost isn't expensive to the point of "once per day". But a cooldown for withdrawing and reinvoking longer than thirty or forty seconds makes Ash seem kinda like a lazy ass, so maybe we could stop it between thirty seconds and a minute?

Well, it is the freaking Brahmastra, the ultimate weapon of ancient Hindu writers with no sense of scale.

Though do bear in mind that Phantasms aren't exactly spammable. After all, Gae Bolg is considered very good for its cost, though Chu could only use it 7 times.

Then perhaps limiting its use to at most three or four times a day would be best. After all, dealing a mortal wound from the shadows and letting them bleed out is sort of his style, even in the original Hindu myth, so limited use shouldn't be a problem provided he has a range advantage or the good ol' element of surprise.

Sorry for being a pain about this. I'm a fan of the Nasuverse, but I'm not terribly familiar with all of its rules, so what is and isn't the norm isn't always readily apparent.

Well, bare in mind that the war is supposed to be secret. Even if you do have a hugely powerful, incredibly wide-range weapon, using it to excess will just get the Mage Association on you faster than you can say "Gilles de Rais". >.>

Hurm... I'm bad at putting out my worries, so I'll try and figure out what I want to say about certain things somehow. >.<

Alright, two to three a day at most. I hate to be a dick, but I'm not going lower, especially when he's effectively powerless and defenseless without it.

And I think I will scale down the explosion a bit. Before impact, the burn trail along its trajectory won't explode, only melt the ground in a trail the width of the projectile. Upon impact, the explosion will reach out upwards, downwards, and to the front, back, left and right, creating a sort of star-shaped boom of blooming blue fire. The explosion doesn't last and last and last, but the fire leftover burns longer than normal fire, and all life in the area withers and dies in the smoke.

And of course, it'll never be too much bigger than a city block, usually smaller.

Bare in mind that Archers are supposed to be somewhat pragmatic, too. And you most likely wouldn't be using it two to three times a day due to the fact that people would start to notice all of the giant explosions and such. >.> Remember how Saber kept using Excalibur over and over again until the Mage Association had enough and clamped down on the war? No? Exactly. >.>

...Also bare in mind that "it's the only thing he has" isn't really that great an excuse. As stated, Archers are supposed to be pragmatic, and he'd have to figure out a way to work around that.

No, I totally understand. I don't want to be the one guy here no one likes, so I'd like to get as much feedback and toss ideas around with you as much as I can.

So do you guys have all the Servant classess filled out?

I'm actually more concerned with making an interesting Master than using Achilles there. The thing that stumps me most is that I have no idea what sort of thing to put under Abilities. Feed me ideas,    feed me   .

Well, you could always hit up Karna if you want Brahmastra and not boring Arjuna. I think the curse's specifics were basically that Karna COULD use Brahmastra, but he can't use it on people he can't beat.

Nah, I'm good with Ashwatthama. I like the direction I'm taking with the emotional and psychological fallout of his curse.

Familiars? Elemental magic? Alchemy? Familiars?

I do like the idea of Ash, to be honest. It's just figuring out how to work his NP that seems to be the problem. Other than that, I'm actually really looking forward to seeing him in action. ^_^

@Dblade: Hurm... We're still filling out the details, but I think we have all of the slots filled in already. Sorry about that. But perhaps we'll see if we can work something out if you still want to play.

Oh yes, I am as well. I don't do many Neutral Evil characters, so this should be a nice exercise in being an enormous asshole.

Is there something that stops people from spotting that people said they wanted, for instance, Rider but haven't appeared today? Umm... seriously, Rider's kind of open.

And how can I make it more obvious that I'm willing to not use a servant?

Maybe people just don't want to use Berserker for some odd, inexplicable reason?

Also, even if we have all of the "main" characters signed up, there's always room for side characters if anyone's willing to play them. Um... I guess, if more people want to take part we can always figure out some way for them to.

...Would Harry Houdini work as a Caster?

Legion work as Berserker? If not I'll take Rider.

Who is Legion? Only ones I know of are the Roman kind, the Geth, and that biblical phrase.
