The problem with that show is that the ship the pirates commandeered doesn't looks piratey enough.

If a chicken crosses the road and nobody else is around to see it, does the road move beneath the chicken instead?

Oh.

Well, in any case, the Dr Mc Ninja one demonstrates the trope well and seems to be winning. We may as well put it up.

We might as well be deciding whether to put a caption, and what to put, seeing how the crowner is going.

Space Pirates seems to have an unobviously space-y picture, too. It may need a new image, too.

You know, he's turning a ship's wheel in the clouds on a trope called Sky Pirates. To me that's obvious enough and you'd only miss it if you for whatever reason thought you were on a different page.

The claim blue sky is more indicative of air smacks of Opinion Myopia because some people live under perpetual cloud cover or spend more time out at night. If it must be replaced then the two blimps shooting each other is the picture that should be used as it actually shows an act of piracy happening in the air, all the other suggested pictures are just of a ship in the air and are not any better since we already have a picture of a ship in the air. But I'd really rather see everything else get stuck on Image Links.

The clouds are barely passable as "sky" but there's absolutely no indication of "pirate" in the current pic

Doesn't look like a pirate, fair enough, then I'm shifting my support to the ship's attacking each other. A demonstration works better.

I think we have a clear winner. Hollering to call the crowner. Anyone wants to propose a caption?

The crowner's locked, and the winner's up, potholed, and tagged. I'm neutral on a caption.

In my browser window (1280x1024 in Chrome, regular zoom) the pic barely fits above the line separating description from examples as it is. (Granted, it doesn't always need to, but it's preferable to get it like that when we can.)

Besides, as others have said there's no need for a caption anyway.

Make the Image Link pages. Agreed, no need for a caption, pic speaks for itself. Good stuff. Locking.
