But how do you tell the difference in intent? For example, I'm sure some nude mythological monsters are included in games for sex appeal reasons, while others aren't. Is there always a way to tell?

There isn't, so they kinda have to be treated the same.

There is such a thing as Non-Sexualized nudity where the nudity is not for fanservice reasons, but simply the act of not wearing clothes. ie. A character covered in muck takes a shower. The problem is that there are people who take it to being a sexualized nature.

That video is so true. You don't like it, then don't let your kids watch it and you don't have to watch it. Sadly, I think people are just easily offended and lazy.

Yeah, true. Come to think about it, naked dead bodie is pretty much the only instance of nudity that is unarguably unsexualized in videogames.

And even then not always/completely.

The problem is that there is a fetish for literally EVERYTHING.

While I agree that the whole taboo about nudity is juvenile, I kind of don't mind it.

Naked bodies, do, in fact, squick me out more than blood (though perhaps not entrails)
