Well, there's 3. Mighty Morphin' (the original), Dino Thunder (which has Tommy return as the Black Ranger) and Dino Charge (which I haven't watched).

recent kamen riders have a lot of gimmick in the belt toys

the next one uses video games

that being said gaim is def good and you should watch it

my recommendation list still stands at kuuga, w, ooo, fourze, gaim, and drive

mumen rider exists in kamen rider

Super Sentai actually does exist in Power Rangers. It's a Japenese show based on the real Rangers. This aggravated a few fans. Most Sentai fans were just like "hey, at least they acknowledge it exists!"

To be fair, if Power Rangers existed, you know the Japanese would make a show based on them.

if you wanna throwback to the full cheese and work your way up consider one of the old kamen riders (black and black rx are considered the best out of that period i've heard)

starting with kuuga, at least from what i've read, kamen rider tends to be more character driven?

kuuga's got a slightly darker tone i feel but i also think it really sets the base line for what you can expect out of kamen rider and the themes they show

w onwards tends to be lighter themed (except gaim), but aren't disappointing (except for wizard and ghost)

of course choice is yours there is no continuity between kamen riders unless it explicitly shows up in-show

i'd recommend kuuga first, but ooo works just as well i feel
