okay so in this movie im watching right now

there's this small kid and he's your basic movie geek

and he nearly drowns in a pool because he couldnt swim

so some kids decide that it's a good idea to make fun of him for that

there was also another one where a girl almost causes a international incident over being homecoming queen

I love bullies in kids movies, because they have pretty much no motivation beyond "fuck this one kid in particular".

"you did something to kinda angered me so i will haunt you for the rest of your life"

I mean, there is zero nuance to it. Half the time it is totally irrelevant to the story and never comes up again. And in the other half they get humiliated in some way or form which honestly should just antagonise them further.
