Looking at it more, it seems the Cure Queentet was something made for music CDs and such, not for animation. Don't know any more than that though.

Helpful Scripts and Stylesheets here. That's all it is. It's a soundtrack and character designs for an imaginary season. Everyone thought it would be the next season after Smile! but by the time Dokidoki! was announced people realized the truth.

Double posting to add that we have titles for episodes 43-46.
I did not see Blue and Seiji being evil coming.
Seiji I'd did see due to his resentment towards blue. Blue himself, however is a major curveball.
Watch SymphogearI didn't expect Seiji because even with his dislike of Blue I felt like they have managed to work on it over the course of the show.
For some reason, I really like Hoshiiwa's "Irasshai!" when she does her summoning thing.
Give the God Eater game thread some love!Episode 42. I want the real Cure Windy. Phanphan looks bored. I feel really bad for the Choiarks. They're just punching bags to the highest order. Those 3 are still in. What about the other generals worldwide? Guess we'll get them in the real finale. Not really sure why Lovely has to go on ahead instead of Fortune, though I guess she is the closest to Blue. Honey vs Hoshiwaa was obvious. That fight was kind of meh. Their banter wasn't too interesting either. Fortune vs Oresky was a neat fight. Banter was slightly better as well. Princess vs Namakelder was funny, and their dialogue was actually kind of interesting. It's almost not worth working hard, right? At least until a middle-school girl beats you down. I did briefly wander if these 3 are fairies as well. Quite possible now that I think about it. Though they probably aren't. And here's the main attraction, Lovely vs Mirage. Mirage has freakishly big boots. Animation goof. Next episode looks hype.
Your preferences are not everyone else's preferences. My first thought after watching this episode was: That's it?
In order:
- Choiarks are still as useless as ever
- Oh, look! Form changes! They still exist! And seem just as pointless as before, since all they provide is a few extra attacks.
- Here comes the battle against the trio! Yay! Time to see what those hints in the past episodes were building up to! *later* That's it? First the trio overpower the cures, then the cures use Innocent Form and the battle ends? Using attacks that couldn't purify Saiarks, no less? That's all? What about the trio's backstory? Maybe Namakelder fell in lover and worked hard for the one he loved only to have that person break his heart? Maybe Oreski worked hard for other people but never got anything in return because people attributed the results of his labor to others? We'll likely never know because it was never explained and the trio is now gone. Also, how come the trio never fought like this before? Some of the past battles would have been a lot better if they did more than just summon Saiarks...
Worst "Precure vs enemy Generals" fight I can think of. Hopefully the battle against Mirage will be better.
Next episode has subs now.
It sure as hell makes up for the three generals fight. Oh boy, does it ever.....
Watch SymphogearIndeed, the episode was great. Awesome fight, Mirage got saved, Lovely got heart-broken... the only part I hated was the song during the Innocent Purification attack. The more I see that attack the more I hate the song because it just feels out of place during a tense battle. At least this time the attack had a custom version just for Mirage - a detail I really liked.
Now to wait for the next episode and see just what Red (or whatever his name is) plans to do now that he has lost his main pawn.
Did Mirage start looking like a Kill la kill Character at some point?
Looks like the hype was worth it. Cure Sebastian has to come someday. Lovely vs Mirage looks great. Budget saving last episode was probably worth it. Mirage fights awesome and appropriately kicks Lovely's ass. Somehow Lovely still stands up after being wrecked twice. Lots of pretty explosions. Lovely almost looked like she was getting some yuri with Mirage. Welp, so much for the Blue Sky Kingdom. Then Lovely just brings it back. Because she can. Gotta give the biggest enemy special attention with the big attack. All is solved. Time for some celebration the last 5 episodes.
Now what's Red up to? I'm starting to think that theory I made way back when is going to come true.
Your preferences are not everyone else's preferences.I thought Mirage looked like Reinforce Eins in her One-Winged Angel form.
That much aside, t'was an excellent episode indeed. More kick-ass color filtration for an appropriately climatic battle.
These two may literally be more bark than bite, but they are no less tenacious than everyone else. She looked like a female version of Boss of eternal from Yes Pretty Cure 5 Gogo.
Watch SymphogearWe have Go! Princess Precure merchandise info. Of note the henshin item seems to be a key and is called the Dress-Up Key and the guy who did Suite and Dokidoki!'s character designs seems to have done the same for Go! Princess Precure.
Though that second link may or may not be an error since from what I hear Toei Animation Works contains images from completed series and Go! Princess Precure hasn't even started yet.

Some spoilers for future episodes: http://precure.livejournal.com/2760675.html
Maybe it's just the translations, but so far I am not very excited for the rest of the season...
We have design leaks for next season's Cures.
Personally I'm not sure how I feel about the Cures themselves so I'm withholding judgement until we get clearer and/or fullbody images of them. Definitely not a fan of the mascots though.

Episode 44. As the end approaches, I believe it is time that Cure Angel makes her debut. Existing would be a good first step. We don't even get a full reaction of Hime reuniting with her parents? Lame. The Blue Sky Kingdom could've had a little more time. Nope, need that Megumi angst. Hime finally states what I've been saying all along. It's all Blue's fault. Yuuko asks the important questions. I suppose Blue/Mirage is official now. Megumi/Seiji date. Meg is once again too dense to notice anything. Red targets Lovely. And they're doing it. They're finally doing it... oh come on! So close to something exciting happening, and they don't have the guts to go through with it. Now Seiji is turning into the bad guy? Not nearly as exciting.
Your preferences are not everyone else's preferences.Better images of next year's Precure.
It turns out their names are Cure Twinkle, Cure Flora and Cure Mermaid in the order we see here. I'm not a fan of Cure Mermaid's hair but I do like the rest of her design. The other Cure's are great too.

Decided to check out the franchise after some Sailor Moon binges.
Even if things have changed a lot from where I am to the current series, I've thought of watching FWPC first, if only to see how this whole cash cow of a franchise started.
So far as of about 4 episodes in, the leads are fun to watch, the fights are a bit more shonan than usual MG fair, and the resident fairy companion little things have some moments of humor. Otherwise, it feels pretty cookie-cutter. Mooks are extremely bland, the side characters are fine but not much to them, and it's hard to say if the fights or slice of life is better than the other. They're equally serviceable and competently done.
"No will to break."You're doing yourself a pretty big disservice by starting with FWPC. SS is wildly considered to be a better version of it so I'd recommend skipping FWPC and checking that out instead.
Uhh what? Splash Star is in no way better than Futari Wa. Splash Star is widely considered to be the worst series of the first bunch, hell it was the only one of the pre-Aikatsu series that Toei didn't make absolute bank on.
That's... contradictory.
"No will to break."It's been awhile since I last watched Precure; school's a bitch like that. Preparing to marathon the episodes now.
What's your opinion of that so you make that conclusion? The only reason why Splash Star is unpopular is because most fans got so used with Nagisa and Honoka, they call 'different, so it sucks' card immediately. and as Toei is quite notorious for being money-pinching, those which are unpopular got shafted because it's unprofitable. Look at what they did to Suite; the ratio of advertising is basically quite a chasm compared to Heartcatch and Smile.

That doesn't necessarily preclude the "queentet" pun.
"Yup. That tasted purple."
