I did not yet watch the video, and am not yet sure if I will, (though I have read some of the comments to it, and someone mentioned that she might have started it for all we know) but I figure I should post for now what my assessment of this is based on the article without the video.
Judging by what Chris said in this, Wouldn't Hit a Girl seems to play a role here. Obviously, help resulting from such double-standards would be ill-gotten help, so perhaps whether she objects to that or not can be an indication of what kind of person she is.
