@My God Its Full of Stars: A lot of that sounds like wishful thinking to me. So do many of Ferguson's predictions, though.

This is why I hate so-called "experts". He could be saying something completely moronic, but because its all in jargon that I don't follow I can't do anything to call him out on it.

Kind of my point.

Basically, Europe is pursuing contradictory policies. Stimulus that puts more money into the economy on one hand and strict regulations that really bind cash flow on the other.

Why do you think those two things are contradictory?

Everyone knows that 2021 is the year that Switzerland launches their long planned invasion of the world. As their tanks have 50 different modes the world is overwhelmed within 36 hour.

Regulation is not the evil. It is the lack of policing to stop greed that is the sin.

I also feel that Ireland may not be "reunited" with the UK for it was occupied for many centuries under the English. In fact I am wondering whether Scotland will be part of the UK in the near future...

As for the notion; I am pro-EU and desire to see closer bonds... but I do not see a USE in the near future for soveirentry is a notion to note.

I didn't say regulation was evil, neither did he. He just pointed out Europe has two contradictory policies wanting to rein in greed, yet at the same time wanting to stimulate the economy with bailouts (to said greedy bastards actually). Even a far leftist can see the problem with these contradictory actions. Actually, a leftist could see it more easily though.

Not so much as a quack as someone with an agenda to promote. He's an ideological conservative, and anything he says should be read with that in mind.

The Treaty of London seperated Belgium from the Netherlands. The only reason it would need to be overturned is if Belgium wanted to reunite with the Netherlands. x???
