The Humble Bundle THREAD

I got the latest one for Torchlight 2. The first one was incredibly addictive. The second one seems to be more of the same.

I've reached the point where they barely matter since I'm unlikely to ever play any of the games anyway (I've probably played <5% of all the games I've previously gotten in Humble Bundles). But I still get them since they're cheap and I may want to play them later and it's nice to support indie game dev. Also I do listen to the soundtracks.

Edit: An update on the Super Splatters soundtrack. I uninstalled 7zip 9.20 and installed the 9.38 beta and now it unzips just fine.

New games have been added to the Beat the Average tier. They are:

BTW if you have an Android phone, GET THE FRAKKING MOBILE BUNDLE! 80 Days alone is FUCKING AWESOME!

Although Mirror Moon's torrent link was borked as of last night, and Contraption Maker was flagging my virus scanner... waiting to see if Humble Bundle support writes back.

And the people at Humble Bundle wrote back. They've verified that Contraption Maker is virus free, that it's a false flagging, and that they'll check into the Mirror Moon links.

A big new bundle has arrived: the Humble Origin Bundle 2. Here are its contents:

Average is just 4.58? Man, people really don't like Origin, huh?

Why do they give you Mass Effect 2 but not the first game?

Humble Bundles usually have Steam keys right? I take it the Origin bundle doesn't?

Only a couple of them do.

Incidentally, EA is accepting no profits from this one. The money goes either to charity or to Humble Bundle. I have to give them props for that.

Is it bad that my first thought from that is, wow they must be really desperate to get people to use Origin?

A friend of mine got that and sent me an extra Dead Space 2! :D

I bought Dead Space 2. No idea what I'll do with the rest of it, no intention of dealing with Origin.

The latest one being offered is a Might and Magic bundle. This time, instead of forcing us onto Origin, they're forcing us onto UPlay to get the games. What happened to offering us the games no-strings-attached?

Oh, and the average to beat is already over $10.

So many of these were in prior bundles that I had no interest.

New games added to the BTA tier of the Paradox bundle. They are Ship Simulator Extremes, Teleglitch: Die More Edition, and Sengoku.

New Humble Bundle is out, but this one's a bit different. Though it consists of indie games, they're not ones for PC, but rather for the 3DS and Wii U. That's right, this is the first Humble Bundle featuring console games instead of PC ones, and on Nintendo's platforms to boot. Anyway, here are the games:

Fair warning though: I hear some of these games are region locked. Which ones, I have no idea. Just a heads up.
