Make your own list, don't be afraid to repeat things, if a lot of people want it then it should be known. Neither should you be afraid to add something if you see it in another list, for the same reason.

Well, hi if anyone's there. I sorta found this whilst scrolling through the RP forums. Although I'm probably not following the format you showed above, I'd be interested in a possible Saints Row RP, if anyone could actually pull it off. Or maybe a Rage (The FPS game) RP.

And um..yeah, just thought I'd put that forward, not sure how RP's like that would be made or work out, but you know, just ideas.

[up]Uh...thanks? But like I said, I guess I don't know how they'd workout, nor am I offering up to GM anything like that. Admittedly, I'm not really a good GM, or writer.

I guess it depends on who actually pays attention to this thread. Also, another idea to put forward could possibly be a Borderlands RP maybe?

Is the OP even here...? Yeah, I ask a lot of questions.

I'd quite like to see a Blaz Blue / Guilty Gear crossover. I'd do it myself, but I can't be bothered checking to see if Raven's dimension-hopping abilities/Kokonoe's science thingies can be used to explain how it would happen.

[up]Man, I agree with you on that one, it'd sure be quite the crossover to see. In my opinion anyway. tongue

So...how do these things get about being done, just post them here hoping someone will pick up on them?

I imagine if there's enough demand for a particular idea, someone will decide to make it. Otherwise, some sort of help thread?

Yeah, I guess, although I don't own the thread. So...help thread for ideas and such for the RP's suggested? That is, if anyone picks up on them. Don't we already have this in the RPG guide thread?

Another suggestion, perhaps a RP based on the Zamonia Series? Although I'm not sure that the fanbase for that series is too big on here...

I actually want someone to make an RP with a concept similar to the Fate/Stay Night ones but centering exclusively on commanders, gunmen, soldiers, pilots, naval officers and such.

Wouldn't have to be on the same setting, it could be its own thing just centered on the heroes of modern wars and how their legends and reputations grant them incredible powers. I have seen so much interest in the Fate R Ps for gunmen and modern heroes that have to be denied to follow the rules of the setting and to conserve the aesthetics of the war.

It would be quite a nice RP for those who prefer guns and strategies instead of swords and sorcery.

If I'm sure of something it's that I'm not sure of anything.

I'd be interested in playing that. Would it still utilize a Class- and Hero-system?

Also Nasu's thing about how guns aren't heroic. Am I the only one that finds that a load of bull shit?

Seeing stuff like Kirutsugu and Gun God, methinks that the "guns aren't heroic" thing is probably a mistranslation. I think the point was more that since they're in the modern age, where magic is thin and Heroic Spirits no longer emerge (other than those that make the Counter Guardian contract, I suppose) and where they're mostly mass produced and really have nothing special or extraordinary about them, guns just don't become Noble Phantasms. I mean, there's probably a chance that a gun-using Servant could exist, but their NP would be something other than the gun itself. If that makes sense.

...Then again, I also like the fact that guns aren't a big part of the Grail Wars, since I'm... Not actually a fan of guns, and I think that the swords and sorcery style fights are so much cooler than they would be with the addition of guns. >.>

...Kirutsugu is of course a exception to this line of thinking, but that's because Kirutsugu is just that frigging cool.

Ahem, uh... So, um, on topic, uh... Magical girls. Like, um, played straight. As much as I liked Madoka for trying something different (despite despising the fanbase), I really do prefer the older, more idealistic, colourful and, well, happy magical girls series out there. So, um, yeah, I'd want to play in one of those, I guess.

[up] That's all true and regarding magical girls? I wanted to start an RP that blended Madoka, Nanoha and Card Captor Sakura together but that'd be hard.

Lemurian: Hmmm possibly, though maybe some classes would have to be scrapped and make way for others... Maybe there would be no classes. I'm not sure on what would be preferable.

Moerin: Indeed, Magical Girls would be great. Though I think it would be better if they make a new setting instead of taking one from a series. I do think picking a setting tends to alienate some prospective players and limit what you're able to do with it.

If I'm sure of something it's that I'm not sure of anything.

[up] I actually have an old Magical Girl tale that I could rip the setting off of, or rather revamp it.

The setting was basically dark creatures that roamed the world called Thanos and Soul Auras made pacts with humans to stop them. Pretty damn simple.

Well, removing classes entirely kind of takes away a thing that a lot of people seem to find very enjoyable; finding personages that fit the preset class (or it may just be me tongue).

Nerdy stuff, speculative stuff, offbeat stuff, adventuring stuff. That's basically what I look for in an RP.

A little while ago there was an RP named "Sin Ratio". I'd like to see that redone, with more thought put into the premise and setting. The concept was amazing, but the RP seems like it died because no-one was really sure about anything.

@Daltar: I'd be interested in an idea like that, it'd be good to see how one would turn out.

[up]Is it still listed in the forum, or has it been deleted? Seeing as I never really looked into that thread, I'd like to check it out.

Just putting this out there; Minecraft. Never done yet as far as I know, and I'd like to see that happening.

I see Star Wars up there. I was thinking I'd like to be involved in a Star Wars RP that takes place during the original trilogy/Galactic Civil War era where the characters are just ordinary soldiers, pilots, or officers (i.e. no Force-using characters beyond canonical movie characters, who would likely only show up as NP Cs, if at all).

Alternately, someone just reboot something similar to that Evangelion RP I was involved in a while back. I liked my character in that one and wanted to do more with him than I did.
