Suggestion: TRS and IP Morgue links at the top of the discussion page

I find it very useful how links to Image Pickin' and Trope Repair Shop threads are found at the top of main articles now. It makes it easy to jump into a discussion while on a Wiki Walk.

In a somewhat similar vain, I think it'd be useful if links to Repair Shop Morgue and Image Pickin' Morgue threads could show up at the top of discussion pages (not main pages, that would just be tacky). That way, upon seeing what seems to be a lousy image for something, a troper could just check the discussion page to see if it was decided in a previous thread. It wouldn't be the be all, end all, "Please don't make another thread," warning, but it would allow people to see if the image was decided on in a previous thread and what arguments were made for putting it up. Of course, it is possible to use Ctrl+F and search through every page in the morgue in the hopes of finding the trope, but my suggestion would just make things more convenient. Thanks!

Support. This would enable us to see an overview of a trope's TRS/IP history without having to do a manual search through the forums.

I'm definitely in favour of the idea. I once made a mistake in Timey-Wimey Ball - and replaced an image that I had previously put there (when there was no image), without realizing that there was a previous discussion on that. There was also no note, so a previous user had removed the previous image for being "stupid and ugly" - or something like that.

I think this could be useful too, but just in case no one's noticed - I have the link to the IP morgue in my signature, so whenever we're posting in the same thread, you've got that handy.

Support. I also think it would be neat if we could have a "a TRS/IP thread was opened for this page on this date" line in the history between edits.
