And let me tell you about the Single Pegasus Project. That's one of the awesomest plans ever. And don't get me started on the Gardens Of Equuestria. Hint: remember the bit at the end of The Lion King where Simba comes back to Pride Rock, finds it's a wasteland, fights a climactic battle of blood and fire and betrayal? That's how the story feels a lot of the time. Remember the bit after he triumphs and walks in the rain to reclaim his throne and roar at the world, and then the music swells and the land heals?

Yeah, that's what the G.O.E. does. At least that's the soundtrack that plays in my head everytime I think of that particular megaspell being triggered.

All I can say then is to just ignore everyone. If you get interested later on, well, this fic ain't going nowhere. If not then no skin off your nose.

Now to try to bring this topic back on track: Was that skeleton that Littlepip got the Twilight statuette from really Pinkie Pie? It seems like it was, but just leaving a Mare of the Ministy dead in her own office just seems strange.

AJ gets referenced costantly past a certain point. She's pretty damn vital to the plot... and to one very troubled guy called Applesnack.

Actually she's one of the three who survived, and she's the only one to have done so in one piece.

She survived the war and got to a Stable in time, though it's more her relationship with a character, as well as her ideals, that get referenced more.

Let's see...Twilight got absorbed...Rarity was in Canterlot...Oh yeah, we don't really know what happened with Rainbow Dash. 'Cause as far as I know she's the only one that we don't really have a definitive ending for.

I'd say go for it. If it starts getting too depressing for you space out the chapters with something funny, like Through The Eyes Of Another Pony (Just updated with a huge chapter. Squee!). I marathoned Fo E in a week an I'll admit it started affecting me, but I think it would have been just fine if I'd spaced it out.

There's this event in Fallout 3 where you're just walking along and suddenly there's an explosion above you, and something crashes nearby. Going there and searching the wreck you'll get a really powerful alien laser gun known as the Firelance.
