She's a bit young to play the Doctor, don't you think? A companion, on the other hand...
Always, somewhere, someone is fighting for you. As long as you remember them, you are not alone.Davison and Matt Smith were young to play the Doctor but they did it with gusto. I don't think the age matters as long as the person has the acting chops to convey the "but actually really old"ness that the Doctor has going on.
Forever liveblogging the AvengersI'm still following my belief that it should be a prequel and that older actors should be considered.
Evanna Lynch could play a companion.
More Buscemi at http://forum.reelsociety.com/I have never seen an actor in his thirties, much less one younger than me, play an old man as convincingly as Smith. Crazy.
That, imo, is more interesting than, "hey, let's cast Anthony Hopkins. He's old and well-known."
I'm a skeptical squirrelI just have to point out that Davison didn't play "old". He could act as if he was older than he really was (it was a bit of a shock when I found out he was 29 when he took on the role), but Smith is the only one of the "young" Doctors that really acts like an old man.

It's not over. Not yet.Dude was in a wheelchair for a good chunk of his first episode. Or floating in a box. Dude was old.
Forever liveblogging the AvengersPFB, sorry if I came across like I was mad at you for not reading the other thread. Of course you're welcome to follow or not follow whichever threads you like and, as far as I'm concerned, hop in whenever you like. But if you look at the other thread, you'll see that certain people tend to throw a fit when someone suggests a female doctor.
C'mon you fuckers it's clearly gotta be will smith.
CAUSE EVERY GIRL IS CRAZY 'BOUT A SHARP DRESSED MAN...In the face of these women being suggested, I feel a lot better about suggesting Robin Williams.
Robin Williams could dress as a woman Doctor.
Forever liveblogging the AvengersYeah, you won me over with your other post. Especially if the opening is a mashup of the DW and Fresh Prince theme with your lyrics.
(gives up trying to take the entire concept of a Doctor Who film seriously)
Looking for some stories? The original series is done in a format where they can easily be edited into feature films (the DVD's are even designed this way). A film version wouldn't be that hard.
More Buscemi at http://forum.reelsociety.com/I'd love to see Tom Waits as The Doctor, mainly because I think the raspy-vagabond thing he has would work well for the Doctor
I'm not. I'm happy.
Hollywood just shouldn't be allowed to touch Doctor Who, IMO.
Looking for some stories?See my theory that they would kill 11 off on screen wasn't insane after all!!!
You will never love a women as much as George Lucas hates his fans....I was genuinely looking forward to it. Oh well.
