I am well aware. And while she did a very good job of replicating those individuals, she rather failed at demonstrating what exactly was so awful about them. Her immoral actions were rather unrelated. SJ Ws don't usually actually shoot people in the face.

Rip Van Winkle was, perhaps, my least favorite part of the whole episode. I liked the shit out of Queen E though.

Even if it was a parody, RVW was fucking obnoxious. Easily the worst part of an otherwise amazing episode. And seriously, people need to get the fuck over themselves. I would've laughed just as much if the gender roles in this episode were entirely reversed (which given Alucard's shapeshifting abilities and the general weirdness of anime wouldn't really be hard to believe).

Well SJ Ws tend to use Insane Troll Logic in their thinking anyway. I reblogged a post on Tumblr last night where an SJW said that they had to raise a stink over it because it would apparently be worse if they let TFS "get away with it."

Pfft.

Honestly, I guffawed the moment I saw the way they were using Frau Van Winkle there. And then laughed harder when Alucard entered the mix.

Very nice use of Hall of the Mountain King, by the way. It went back into how in the original material, Van Winkle was a big fan of Der Freischütz, in which the antagonist who uses the magic bullet gets torn apart by wolves.

he was.it was funny.he turns again into one later on.

As one fanfic put it, "Walter was a teenage boy and I was bored."

Even in the 40s as a girl Alucard had a sweet hat.

The actual OVA kept the same voice for that form as well.

I'm actually curious about when they do Alucard's Level Zero release. And whether or not they let Dandyman and Van Winkle have one last line. The anime didn't but whatever. It'd be fun maybe.

Also, I'm curious about whether they'd find a way to do a joke about the implication of him eating the horses too.

...If there's anyone that can make The Impaler funny, it's these guys.

I just really wonder whether there is any humor value to be extracted from Level Zero.
