I think it's implied that any damage suffered before you get regeneration (one way or another) can't exactly be properly healed.

True Vamps get some cool perks to go around that.Maybe.

I mean. She grew her eyes back.

If that was true, she wouldn't have been able to regrow her eyes. She just doesn't regrow her arm for spoilery reasons outlined by unnoun at the top of the page.

Also, this episode was absolutely amazing. Everything was the start of Seras and Alucard's conversation to the end of the episode was pure platinum.

Seriously there are so many crass jokes that they can make about that arm.

Thinking back ,if my idea was right,Sheras would also have a big hole in her chest.That was silly.

I mean.

Seriously, that reach-around joke from last episode is nothing by comparison.

EDIT: I think my biggest question about Alucard's Level 0 is. How will TFS make it funny.

Also, did Alucard eat the horses!?!

So, did Seras have an internal conversation with Alucard in the original to spur her own here? It's been awhile since I've watched the real thing, and I thought she either came to that by herself, or Pip told her to do something, or both.

One thing about this episode that I didn't like was them cutting out the Schrodinger bit where he shows up in Zorin's illusion and is all "The Major says You Have Failed Me so we're cutting you loose. kthxbai."

I missed that as well. It was so trippy and really goes to show when they say he's everywhere they mean everywhere.

If memory serves, Pip told Seras to drink him in the original. However, I really like how TFS handle it since it works so well with how they've handled everything else with Alucard.

From a more meta perspective, I suspect it's also just a way to include Alucard in since he's popular, funny, and allows Taka to do something during the episodes without just flashing over to the boat and having him complain.

Well, they really lampshaded that this time, so maybe.

So speaking of which, do you guys think Andrew W.K.'s "Party Party Party" will be back next episode, or will it be a different song? Maybe, to keep it similar, Andrew W.K.'s "Ready to Die"?

I imagine they'll probably update the opening to use clips from the back half of the show.

I feel kind of embarrassed that I have an Alucard avatar and I've only watched the first four parts of the Hellsing Ultimate OVA.

That means less than nothing. Everyone here knows you aren't into anime that much.

Holy crap, people know me for stuff.

I didn't.

I'm into Dragon Ball and...that's pretty much it. It's impossible for me to commit to finishing an anime.

So, Integra's into some shit.

So I have no idea how they're going to Abridge OVA 8 and OVA 9.

OVA 8 has a lot of really damn essential shit in it. Like. There's Alucard getting back, and level 0, and the start of a big epic fight, and the reveal of Millenium's plan, and. A lot of stuff. The characters meeting up again. Like. Big, story and plot relevant things, without which nothing really would make sense. And a lot of it is cool and well-animated and definitely up their alley.

OVA 9 has the opposite problem, being the conclusion of a fight, and then, after that. Well. Mostly just a bunch of standing around and talking. Some of which would probably be funny to cover, but. Not all of it. A lot could probably be condensed and cut, and a lot is dependent on their OVA personality and character traits which don't really carry over to the Abridged version so far. Like. Especially Alucard, who originally was pretty servile to Integra, and in this version. Well. Not really.

Like, there's another fight at the end, but.

...Overall, the pacing of the OVA is. Weird.
