Also, fun fact, the main villains of this sequel seem to be from author's one oneshot manga <_< Probably with character and background changes, but yeah, weird

Wasn't there a team in the Shaman Fight that were all expies of an earlier manga?

The Buddhist team were an homage to Takei's earlier manga Butsu Zone, but I have not read that one so I'm unsure of whether or not the characters in the two series bear resemblance to one another.

Well, in this case at least characters seem to be exactly the same, except that Yosuke isn't Ax Crazy yet(he seems to be rather willing to use triangle guy's powers to cheat though so I guess hes already on path to dark side :P) and triangle guy is apparently robot instead of a spirit. He has same basic power of money for cards though

Thing is though, this is a series where death is ridiculously cheap. Hana himself's been revived several times already, and despite Hao saying that Hana's got one more revival left, I wouldn't but it beyond him to bend the rules.

And what? Pyramid guy was the previous god to Hao? News to me.

So wait, what, this one just ended kinda abruptly without ending because magazine it was released on died or something?

And because life is cruel. With any hope, Takei will pull out a miracle twice and manage to get Flowers resumed somehow as he did with the original. Although I'd say it's more than a little unlikely, since in this case we're not even close to the climax .
