Image changed without a thread... again: Stalker With A Crush

The last thread about this article was resolved less than twelve hours ago.

An editor named vexusdylan, replaced the perfectly serviceable Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei image already on the page with one from Chowder. Again.

Granted, it's a different, decidedly less JAFAAC image, but still. No IP thread.

Shall it be reverted? Is there protocol for a situation like this? Is this some of that anime hate that FeralPhoenix briefly mentioned on his tumblr? Am I getting all worked up over something of little consequence? The answer to all four of these questions is probably "yes".

I wouldn't have restarted a thread the second time. I'd have just reported him on Ask The Tropers for edit warring so he could step up and claim his ban.

I reverted the image, put an tag pointing to the thread where the image was originally chosen. We can lock this.

That same guy changed the Sweat Drop image a few days ago too and we changed it back.

Warning was present at that time too.

And this SZS was chosen by ip thread.

Which is why when an image is chose in IP you put a link in the description. Don't expect people to magically know where an image came from.

INUH, if you were going to report him, could you have just said so? I still feel awkward about creating a duplicate query without my knowledge.

Wait, you link to the thread in the page description with a comment? I may need to go back and do that for Level Ate and Blue-and-Orange Morality, unless someone went and did that for me, too.

Um, the image didn't have a disclaimer on it, so I assumed it was fair game.

The one from Sweat Drop did though. So avoid ignoring the comments saying that coz mods tend to take action towards people who do that.

"Changed without thread" IP threads do tend to resolve very quickly. I didn't see when Liberater created the thread, but if it resolved in less than an hour, it's no wonder you didn't notice.

And incidentally, vexusdylan, even if there's no tag, it's good form to make an IP thread if you want to change the page image on a page that already has one.
