And do the characters in the article image really qualify as an example of the trope? None of them are upper-crust aristocrats or have any conncetion to such aristocrats, AFAIK; they're just regular middle-class highschoolers. I believe the image is just an official omake that is not representative of the characters' social status in-story.

Yes, but they're still not true examples. At the very lest, the xxxHolic entry should be rephrased to reflect that they only qualify in an omake artwork rather than in-story.
