Image Switch: Would Hit A Girl

Usually, when deciding an effectiveness of image, the caption is not considered.

No, it's perfectly valid to consider the caption. 'Sup to personal preference to decide how much weight to give it.

Wonder Woman is a woman, right, but a badass woman with a power near that of superman. The whole social cliche of "Thou shalt not hit a woman" is based on the premise "women are weaker than men, therefore a man hiting a woman is taking unfair advantage of his superior strength" (yes, faulty logic, but machism is faulty in itself, what would you expect?).

It's better to use an image of a woman that has no special powers, or whose powers are not related to strength. Of the two proposed, I would support Batman, but I have a better option: a classic◊ that generated quite a stir about the issue.

Isn't that Domestic Abuse?

Folks, the crowner's spoken; the pic's up and this is done except for trying to decide a caption, and since that discussion's been pretty well derailed, it's time to lock this up and move on.
