This really doesn't seem like this trope: Blue And Orange Morality

The image describes a being that doesn't take humanity into consideration at all. That sounds like an Eldritch Abomination or a Cosmic Horror more that Blue-and-Orange Morality. Blue-and-Orange Morality is about morality entirely different from humanity but not ignorant of it. If spoilers weren't a problem I was thinking of using an image from the Madoka Magica manga portaying a conversation between Kyueby and Madoka. Does anyone have less spoilerly ways of depicting the trope?

There is a panel of Touhou Nekokayou that could work, but I think it's JAFAAC.

Here's the strip. It actually could work pretty well, if the last 2 panels are both used.

You're confused; hence, the image doesn't work.

To put it simply, though, the green-haired character on the left (Shikieiki) has the power to see things as objectively good (white) or evil (black). Using it to view the bucket girl's karma turned up neither, meaning that clearly something is wrong.

But it's a moot point now; since you needed an explanation, it's JAFAAC.

Right. You need to be familiar with Touhou to get that.

MADOKA SPOILERS!

This is the image I'm talking about but the issue is the spoilers.

I'm not seeing it. For starters, it's extremely confusing for everyone who doesn't automatically know manga is read right-to-left, and it also doesn't seem all that alien either.

But then again, I've always personally felt that we're way too broad about what constitutes Blue-and-Orange Morality versus just plain Deliberate Values Dissonance, so my opinion may not be the best one.

It isn't?

Well for those who aren't used to manga we could add a hottip "read right to left".

And this isn't Deliberate Values Dissonance because it doesn't constitue anyone's real life values.

^No; pretty much everyone I know who watched it knew from the moment they saw him.

That said, he's not this trope. He just doesn't give a shit about humans.

I don't see the trope there, either.

There's got to be some scene with Kyubey that demonstrates this trope. But I'd be happy to have another image from another series if it fits.

Kyubey's not an example of this trope, though. He simply doesn't care about humans, considering his goals more important.

It's debateable. His goals can be considered "good" though his means are indesputably evil. But yeah considering his polarizing nature maybe making him the page image is a bad idea. Any other suggestions?

Maybe a set of 3D axes, with one labeled "good/evil," one labeled "lawful/chaotic" and the third labeled "what the hell?/something else"

I could probably whip something up along those lines. For bonus points, the axis with "what" and "something" will be blue and/or orange.

A possible caption: "Not pictured: the axis of Stupidity."

I'd suggest "argen" and "fargle" but that's a bit too out there.
