I'm seriously wondering if we're going to be getting some last minute turn around for Chika. Considering what kind of story it is I should say yes, but this isn't like with Chitoge's mom, nothing has implied there is anymore to this than it seems. She's not even hilariously over the top about how cold and evil she is.

Marika's dad seemed to be trying to show her as a sympathetic character, though that only made me question his own right to care for a child.

Huh… I kind of liked the chapter. I mean, it was obvious that Honda cared for Marika more than on a professional level, but at least it's inserted at the right time.

The other hidden guards look stupid, though.

Obviously she planted a bomb inside of him after drugging him, and now holds him hostage to her will by holding the detonator.

Honestly I see no meaning in this "arc" other to drag things out with Marika. We could just have ended things with her if Raku had rejected her about 10 chapters ago. Wonder if the author will do something like this to conclude the character arc of every girl.

It's an excuse for action sequences.

Personally, I am most entertained.

Whelp, look like we're about to see Conservation of Ninjutsu in action. She'll need help from one other person, of course, Just to drive home the point.

You know, I'm Okay with marika getting some big final arc. I never liked her, but we can't have her Let go with Just an "oh, shucks" after all her zani obsession.

They are really dragging this arc out. I'm tired of it already. It's not even that interesting. I hope we won't see Marika again after this is over.

Chapter's out. This arc may have some [[Understatement minor plotting issues]] but the action sequences really are quite fun.

Oh, I think they're trying to set up Chika being somehow sympathetic. Isn't it a bit late for that?

I suppose Honda is probably a better mom to Marika than Chika is but they'll never acknowledge that.

I think Komi's trying to set her up as a bit pitiful, and probably more possessive of Marika than she let on before. Still terrible.

I liked how Marika trying to run away at the start of arc ended up coming back with the same pose and everything. Props for doing it in a wedding dress.

Maybe the goal here is to have Honda just take over as the new mother figure instead then? Seems like a hell of a better ending for everyone I'd say.

Honda is more of a mother than Marika's actual mother. How sad.

By the way, I will literally applaud this manga if they do something like have Chika lose custody of Marika.

I guess there must at least be some law saying that you must be older than your daughter to be her mother.

A cool chap. I'm surprised Raku can pull off such a stunt, though.

Honda has been caring for Marika since her infancy and is shown as an adult when Marika was still fairly young, so she's apparently at least in her mid thirties.

The magical girl spinoff keeps getting more and more perverted. Like To Love Ru perverted. The art is nice though, other than several anatomically impossible poses.

To be fair, it was more like "I can't return your feelings but I still want you to be happy with someone because you're my friend." And he and the others knew she wasn't going to be happy with this man, even if it turns out he was more a less a decent guy.
