^Not to mention that the game could have been being polished in the time between its completion and its release. Amazing game, but definitely could have used some polish.
Infinite Tree: an experimental storyBig time.
That's still a really screwed up mentality to have. You're basically saying that if I'm not the orginal owner of the property you deserve the right to steal what I now own, regardless of the conditions of how I acquired it. And even then if you actually go out use your money to buy the game then you're showing the new IP owners that there's still potential for the franchise, which may lead to a (very small) chance of a reboot.
IDK if that was to just Thorn or me too, I was just saying it'd influence my appeal to purchase. But I will say that if money isn't going to the makers, then I wouldn't want a reboot of a game.
DumboOh my god, I've only just noticed that Costume Quest is now included as part of the sale...
I now go by Graf von Tirol.Yeah, it wasn't announced. I had to make a post about it on the Steam Forums to point it out.
It's tempting....but I really shouldn't. I wish there was a demo though, if there was and it worked I'd go for it.

DumboThe sad thing is that I've been burned out from the sale and I've only just learned, but do I want it.
I now go by Graf von Tirol.
Yeaaah, for some reason, they seems to be adding games each day WITHOUT FRICKING MENTIONING IT.
Just decided what the hell and bought Costume Quest anyways. It's not like I plan to spend money AT ALL for the month of November...
I now go by Graf von Tirol.
Right, but did they have to do it on the same day? Thats like premiering a made for TV movie on the same time as the super bowl and then blaming the guys who made it for not having alot of viewers.
Agreed. If you can find another way of getting it, do so.
Or not, if you don't mind the money not going to anyone who deserves it I guess.
