Annoying, the price keeps going up and I can't buy it yet. Not that I've decided to yet...are those games good?

Nimbus YMMV Quirky puzzle game

Personally I would get it for Sanctum alone.

Get this, there are three more bundles coming. Wonder what could be in the "difficult" one. Super Meat Boy and VVVVVV, maybe?

Bought it. Might regret it. It was cheap but I really don't need any more games, the damn increasing price count panicked me. All these little cheap games add up....Eh, whatever though, it was out of being rushed. And it's DRM free which is pretty convenient when I'm away somewhere without Steam.

These little deals are just evil though, I'm trying to grow out of videogames :P

*Shrugs* Well I'm too busy with study to play them now....responsibly anyway. I do have a ton of free time during the summer....but that's when more new games out :/ And, hell, I'm happy just spending all day on the internet. Console games might be a lot more expensive but at least that meant I only bought them when I could play them. Though admittedly I never 100% anything but still.

But whatever, I only bought it out of panic, so it's not just me mindlessly buying more cheap games. I'm just trying to not buy games anymore before I've demoed and set time for them, and if I can wait for a sale all the better. But I suppose my playtime for what I've bought isn't bad. I'm just trying to make sure I don't go too far and waste money I might need in an unexpected situation on cheap videogames :/ The Bank won't let me invest below a certain amount....

Anyway: I'm not sure how smart this constantly raising price is. It'll give them a huge traffic burden next time right when it starts, and the purchases seem to have slowed down quite considerably...sure it keeps out one-penny cheapskates (Like me I guess, now, although I paid $16 for previous HI Bs, I've just decided I won't pay anymore until after I've played them) but I'm not sure it'll be worth it compared to how many people they lose who feel like they're too late.

You can use Steam trading to actually trade games? O_o

Yeah, buy them as a gift and you can trade them instead of giving them to people, I think.

Got two of the four games on the bundle already, but subscribed to the newsletter. Certainly looks interesting.

EDIT: Whoa! They just included the DLC for Sanctum? The pot got sweeter, so I'm thinking about it.

Anyhoo, if anyone trusts me enough, I can give them the key if they get me something :3 Otherwise I have to give it as a gift...

Well, I got an essay finished earlier then anticipated, so I'm trying Sanctum. And it's very laggy on my laptop :( I was worried about this. I'll look around for advice but if I can't get it to run better, I'm getting a refund, the other games aren't interesting enough when I've bought so many others. Shame. I really need to get a better computer, I buy too many cheap indie games and old games because I can't afford the great deals on new ones :( How I'd love Fallout NV on my laptop...I put 70 hours into it and 100 hours into Fallout 3 and I never have that much time played in games.

Edit: And A.R.E.S crashes on me. Okay, I'll ask for a partial refund, without what went on VAT or Paypal/Visa charges to them.

Any guesses for what the next bundles contain? All I know is, the site will crash when they launch. :P

I'm going to go out on a limb and predict that this unfortunately isn't going to make anywhere nearly as much as the Humble Bundle. Not because of the games, but because of the pricing gimmick combined with human psychology. "Pay more to support charity and the developers" is just a much more powerful motivator than "pay more so that a bunch of other people don't have to pay as much", especially since the former appeals to a more intrinsic motivation, while the latter is a thoroughly extrinsic one. Plus the fact that the minimum price is shown so prominently won't help either.

That said, I'm still interested to see what games will be in the next pack. To take a random stab in the dark, I'll guess Super Meat Boy, VVVVVV, SpaceChem, and one of the Bit Trip games.

Yeah. Although I think the increasing price count and rush to be there as early as possible will cause more problems.

Also, Nimbus is also giving me problems too. :( Honestly, my Laptop isn't usually this bad, this is a bad bunch for me...

Hmm yeah.

I did pay 7 at least tongue Which felt pretty stupid afterwards since change for that is 0,01 euro. Still, felt good in a way xD But yeah, should drop at least 0,05 or something, so you actually feel it xD

Anyway, price has now lowered to 3,28 from 3,72 so I guess it seems to be working somehow o.o

Ooh, I got Sanctum to work better! (Not excellently, but better enough to be playable, as far as I've tried it) By adding one missing line to a config. I get why that works but it amazes me how it can change things so much, like with Atom Zombie Smasher.

E Dit: Spoke too soon. The Tutorial ran better but not the game. I really should just give up, no point playing the game at bare minimum everything and it still being laggy.

Just grabbed it because Sanctum looked interesting, beat the minimum by paying 6 bucks. Hmm... ARES looks fun too! Dunno about Gemini Rue, though. No Steam compatibility :P How will i be able to tell all my friends that i'm playing it the second i boot it up!?

Gemini Rue is released on Steam, so it will probably get key soon.

Even if it wasn't on Steam, you could add it as non steam game to the library xD

...Umm, its "Games" at top of the screen and clicking "Add a non-Steam game to my Library" xD

Though, I personally am gonna wait till they get a steam key for it tongue
