It's too late, Minami. You're caught in Tomoko's gravitational pull.
"If we hit that bullseye, the rest of the dominoes will fall like a house of cards. Checkmate."Someone mentioned before that the side characters in WATAMOTE were all starring in different genre manga of their own. Shuzuku is obviously a star in her own shojo manga here , complete with being ostracised and having a shadow nemesis (a senpai no less).
Unfortunately for her , the cool neet senpai that will be her guardian happens to be Tomoko {face palm} ...That's like having the fox protecting the hen .

Incidentally someone from 2ch noted that the brand of pudding Yoshida bought (Pastel) is expensive — a pack of 6 costs about 40 USD.
Kind of adds fuel to the theory that Yoshida isn't a delinquent at all.
Or she's a delinquent with cash to spare.
Shaking down kids must be quite lucrative for her .
Man, that last line from Ucchi had me giggling out load for a good half minute.
"But if that happened, Melia might actually be happy. We can't have that." - Handsome RobWhich translation option did you read? To be fair, whoever that was doing the translation in W3 version did took some liberties in their results. Emiri didn't use the word bitch to Shizuru nor did Minami called them losers earlier in the chapter.

The W3 version has more impact for readers that aren't well-versed in shoujo stories. As Myssa mentioned earlier, it's a stock line from the genre.

"If we hit that bullseye, the rest of the dominoes will fall like a house of cards. Checkmate."Ucchi is going to murder someone by the end of this, isn't she.
Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.Well .. She's already an expert stalker.
The chapter made it a point to make fun of Shoujo manga conventions, and Ucchi just walked right into one. If she keeps to the role, she'll make friends with Scum-chan over their mutual obsession.

I am 100% excited for Ucchi to share her idolization of Tomoko and for Hirasawa to completely fail to grasp the romantic connotations.
"She's kind and beautiful and I want to be with her forever!"
"I know, I hope I can stay friends with her after graduation, too!"
"If we hit that bullseye, the rest of the dominoes will fall like a house of cards. Checkmate."Raws are out for 133, though there's a pastelbin translation already.
So yeah it's the lunchtime chapter. For something only 6 pages long, it's remarkably packed. Some highlights include Tomoko and Komiyama acting like the sister-in-laws they're meant to be, Tomoko calling Yuri her friend, and Komiyama getting triggered by a certain delinquent getting close to Tomoki. All that we're missing is Ucchi, really.
After the previous chapter, I'm assuming Ucchi is just outside of frame in every panel.

"If we hit that bullseye, the rest of the dominoes will fall like a house of cards. Checkmate."The conversation between Koto and Yuri brings me way back to Dick-chan, back in chapter 91.
Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.Even Akane (whom stood up to Yoshida twice ) was wary of Kotomi? Interesting....
I would love to see if there is an omake or sort explaining how the reject posse happens to be seated right next to Nemo in the cafeteria . I'm getting the feeling that Yuri's hand is heavily involved in this.
Take a look at Mako's face in the panel where Yuri first speaks up. It reeks of "Oh gosh I didn't want to be here, but my friend asked me to."
New chapter is out, and it's a direct continuation of the previous one. The pastebin translation is out, too.
A little thing that made me chuckle is how even while the whole snafu with Kotomi and Masaki happens, Yuri focuses on Hina and tries to one-up her.
Other than that, Ucchi is now a literal running gag and barely even bothers to hide that she's stalking Tomoko. And Tomoko is so popular that she has to manage scheduling conflicts.

Game over man, game over. ;)
Man, Asuka must be leaking pheromones or something, as Tomoko these days only has this sparkly filter whenever she's involved. It only took a comment from her to mess up Tomoko's schedule.
Also, compare that scene with Tomoko eating lunch alone in that empty classroom to this chapter's lunch group (where we're probably only missing Kii-chan at this point), and wow, it's like night and day.
I thought it was the bathroom.
It was an empty room used for desk and chair storage. The bathroom was in another chapter.
I mean, can't you feel Asuka's incredible bishoujo aura through the pages? Of course Tomoko would get a bit flustered.
Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.Did Kotomi just sister-zoned herself in front of Tomoki? Good luck trying to gain any romantic interest from him now that you already proclaimed that you see him as your younger brother.
Translation for Chapter 135 is now up.
Anime-watcher Tomoko makes a return, Nemo being nice and civil for a change, a hint that Asuka's not really that great in doing make up for other people, and Minami blowing up her mouth... At Asuka. Oh dear.
I'm not ashamed to admit that I laughed out loud at the shoujo art shift. And to cap it off Ucchi said that classic CLASSIC line from shoujo manga — "Don't get full of yourself."
Poor Scum-chan. She has no idea what she's gotten into.
