Isn't actually an example of the trope: Broken Aesop

The drugs Captain America goes to war against and the ones he took to become a super soldier are two very different things. You might as well be calling him a hypocrite because he fights Nazis, who have hands, and he also has hands. The Aesop here is "Don't do bad drugs, like heroin or crack", not "don't do any drugs at all, like Allegra or that thing that stops you from getting a heart attack".

Because it's Not An Example.

As noted above, it's only a Broken Aesop if one assumes that CA got his power through the same drugs he's attacking. It's like implying that an anti drug advocate is a hypocrite because he takes blood pressure medication. Totally different kind of drug.
